Pearl leaves the crew to their own devices when she, Bobo and Observer go camping; aliens then invade the SOL. The movie is Michael Landon's turn as...well, the title says it all.
  • This was another excellent episode of MST3k! Michael Landon actually stars in this movie and is (of course) the butt of many jokes.

This was another excellent episode of MST3k! Michael Landon actually stars in this movie and is (of course) the butt of many jokes. Landon starred in this film in 1957 before doing some Bonanza in 1971-73 and Little House on the Prarrie in 1974-82. The guys do a great job of ripping on all the characters and pointing out the obvious. There is plenty of room for them to rip on the movie due to the terrible plot and predictablity of the story. There is a lot of mindless aggression in Landon's character, which makes for some hilarious film and remarks. Anyone would enjoy watching this episode!moreless
  • Space camping and alien life take a beating in I Was A Teenage Werewolf.

    9.7
    "Superb"
The movie that made Michael Landon a star, I Was A Teenage Werewolf is another fine example of MST 3000's riffing abilities. The movie's plot involves a teenager who has problems "adjusting", so he is sent to a psychiatrist who turns out to use him for testing in some sort of mad science. Our hero turns into a werewolf and starts chewing up his classmates and winds up shot by the police. Mike and the bots are left to their own devices as Pearl, Observer and Bobo go camping on the unknown planet. An alien attaches itself to Servo, who winds up crying in a dark, damp area of the ship going after the main alien, who also lays its eggs, which the crew tries to make into omlets. Finally, they repulse it by making Mike into Adam Duritz of the Counting Crowes. Another typically great show.moreless
