When the farmer finds Pedro the werewolf, Servo starts riffing on the theme song from The Beverly Hillbillies. When he finishes, Joel says to him, 'Good one, Crow.' Both Crow and Servo correct him.
The inventions in the invention exchange were taken directly from Joel's stand up act. In fact, the 'hell-in-a-handbag' was also used in the KTMA season episode City On Fire.
Tom: An AP story came in from Ashton the other day about a...about a child being killed by a weird animal from the swamplands. Lieutenant: What do you mean 'weird animal?' Crow: Platypus or a jackalope, you know? Weird!
Servo: (describing Lenora) She wants to be Judy Garland in the worst way, doesn't she?
Pedro: Good night, Miss Lenora. Lenora: Good night, Pedro. Crow: I'll be lurking for you.
(in Cameron's fantasy) Prof. Warwick: There are institutions for madmen. Servo: Like the Pentagon.
Dr. Cameron: Men who are governed by one collective thought: the animal lust to kill without regard to personal safety. Joel & Servo: Republicans?
Dr. Cameron: He's no longer human. He's a wolf. Snarling, ferocious, lusting for the kill. Servo: He needs to go outside, too, I think.
(as Cody sneaks in a room, the floor creaks) Servo: Oh, you'd think in the future on the moon, they'd at least get rid of the creaks! Joel: Yeah.
Joel: (as Cody flies over the moon city) Hey, Diana Ross is playing at Caesars' Palace.
(in the serial) Hank: What did you find out about the ray gun? Crow: Ron and Nancy?
