This film I wouldn't say it's a terrible film but decent/mediocure (I'm leaning toward the latter), it had a good idea and premise. But the problem was it was the fact that it was low budget which means they weren't able to push the envilope on the idea, some parts of the film are boring not much happens, some of the acting is a bit lame, they were going for a fugitive premise in the latter half of the film but the main protagoinst really didn't get very far, and the end was just depressing making the plight kinda pointless. But this was a good episode for the show, I really loved it whenever they kept making Super Mario Bros jokes because one scientist looked like Mario without the cap. Or even whenever they made fun of whenever anyone went to America. Though my favorate and the best jokes in this episode were all of the comments and gags on actor Peter Graves whom I think is a good actor and TV host even though he has a pritty strange record consisting of projects that were bad or medocure. I loved it whenever the robots kept saying "This week/next on Biography" I always cracked up to that.moreless

Whenever Peter Graves is involved, you can be sure the movie the gang is riffing is going to be ripe for parody. Go figure, the guy is Jim Phelps and hilarious in "Airplane!" but for some reason appeared in a ton of turkeys in his career. The guys let the "Biography" rips fly in this one, which supposedly was the inspiration for the movie "The Island" (and is probably a lot better than the movie "The Island.") But they balance the obvious shots at Graves (Biography, Mission: Impossible) with enough other jokes that it never becomes overwhelming or boring.

Like most Sci-Fi channel outings, however, the host segments are weaker than their Comedy Central predecessors. I blame this mostly on Mary Jo Pehl, the "story arcs" mandated by Sci-Fi and the truly freaky looking Paul Chaplin as a performer. The bits with the omnipotent space children get old really fast, but Mike's attempts to grow a mustache (and Tom and Crow's reactions) are funny. The real laughs in this one come from the riffs, which are great from start to finish. From the lumpy, dopey clone protagonist to Peter Graves' sinister candidate, this movie is abysmal, and a perfect target.moreless
