There are some consistant facts about MST3K. It's always going to be funny, but some are even beyond, true brilliance. And the other is--the worse the movie, but better the riffing.

"Riding With Death" is a prime example. This would be among the worst movies ever, but it's not even really a movie, it's like two really really really really stupid TV shows slammed together incomprehensibly. The characters range from pointless to championship level annoying.

And Mike and the Bots are at their very best, never more than 30 seconds from one hilarious slam on this hot mess to the next. The host segments aren't that great, but that's not often what makes the best shows great. This one's about a really awful movie, and hysterically funny riffing. Among the episodes in this great series, this is among the top ten.moreless
