the air tank going thought the wall is do able but it all depands on the age of the wall the older of the wall the harder the wall will be and if the wall has core fill or not. core fill gives the wall more strangth then a wall with out core fill i know that because that is what i do i am a builder in the navy i build walls all the time so we core fill the walls to give it stangth. so if u can do it one more time but with a wall that has core fill and see if it gos through like a wall with out core fill.moreless

So I remember way back when, when I used to work in the chemistry department stockroom as an undergrad. We had to have these special metal bases and heavy chains for all of the compressed gas tanks that we had in there. We had carbon-dioxide, oxygen, argon, helium, lots of fun stuff. There were all these horror stories about tanks that had gotten knocked over and the release valve had gotten knocked off and gone flying through walls. So it was cool to see the mythbusters test this myth and then have more fun with it by strapping them to a boat.moreless

The "Air Cylinder Rocket" episode is very impressive to me because I work in an industry that uses gas cylinders (K-Bottles) charged with 2500 psi of Gas Nitrogen transported around the shop on portable carts with the protective valve cap removed. I've had a no interest from my management in the DANGER of these potently deadly Rockets if one were to get knocked over and break the valve off. Cinder block walls are one thing, try launching one of these things in a room filled with tables, chares, computers and people that WILL contain an out of control 'K'-Bottle. I'm sure the results will be more impressive. I believe it will act like an out control of 4th of July bottle rocket gone wild and will kill or destroy every thing in the room.moreless
