  • I have been on the bandwagon for years that the concrete truck explosion is their best explosion - and this episode sends it down to number two. The rocket-car pancake collision was the most phenomenal thing they've ever had on the show.moreless

    I have been on the bandwagon for years that the concrete truck explosion is their best explosion - and this episode sends it down to number two. The rocket-car pancake collision was the most phenomenal thing they've ever had on the show. Absolutely tremendous.

    And then after that, the shockwave from the metal fusion was also tremendous.

    The other myths were great, too - Jamie was surprisingly animate trying to flip the bus over, and the Tori/Grant/Kari stuff was compelling as well. The car drop myth clearly shows that, for maybe at least this episode, their budget has dramatically increased. I hope they can keep it up!moreless

  • This episode was about crashing cars with rockets, release hooks from helicopters, and many more. Despite the votes on busted, confirmed or plausible, it was laaughable to see all the hilarious crash tests being done.moreless

    Even though I was blowing off the resuklts, it was still impressive to see how a car would look like if you dropped it 4,000 feet off the ground. It was really surprising when the falling car beat a car that was clocking at about 100 MPH. Even though this series is about mathmatics and science, but it's a good combination that doesn't bore a teenager to tears. Adam and Jamie were laughing off the effects of the experiment, which lightened up the mood alot! I saw the last part of the episode, but it still has some adrenaline-type atmosphere about it whenever you see Jamie with his remote controls or when there's a "big boom".moreless
