    Tonoght, May 1, 2007. on America's funniest videos, A clip was shown of an archer standing in a tree, was shooting at a target deer and split an arrow and it stuck on the back of a previous arrow from a distance of about 30 feet. thought you would like to know.

    they said on the show that in the movies, it might have been bamboo. hey tryied it, and it worked. also, the bamboo arrow looked just like the one in robin hood.

    Obviously, it is possible to crack, smash, and possibly even shatter an arrow - but none of these means you have succeeded at genuinely slicing it in half.

    Those of you claiming you have done it, are sort of analogous to a waiter throwing a hamburger bun into a blender for two minutes, dumping it onto a customer's plate, and saying, "Look how nicely I cut it in half!"
