What's the best way to leave your windows in a hurricane? Open or Close? Along with a few Liquid Nitrogen Myths

  • Hurricanes and Tornados 2 different things

The myth should mention that hurricanes and tornados are 2 different things. Dorothy was picked up by a tornado not by a hurricane.......
The hurricane damage is caused on the coast line (if you leave the windows open) by water damage, debris etc. after hours of these effects pounding the general area on the coast, the hurricane is formed when a number of storms start merging on the sea until they become an organized in a massive circular motion that can last several days depending on the sea waters temperature. The eye of a hurricane could have several kms of circumference and the total storm could have hundreds of Kms in diameter. A Tornado is only a funnel cloud coming from a storm cloud called Cumulus Nimbus (one single cloud).
The Tornado will follow a narrow path of destruction in the middle, northeastern and southeastern parts of the country like Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Michigan that can last for few seconds to several minutes, in rare occasions a tornado can stay on the ground for several hours. I remember one tornado in Salt Lake City (UTAH) very rare event.
In few words the myth analysis should consider a vertical upward suction effect that may or may not have any effect having the windows open or closed. I am sure that a house in a path of a tornado with a destruction scale F-5 will be destroyed anyways with or without windows close or open.
I enjoy must of the Shows.
