In this episode we learn that Adam gets very seasick. But in the Brown Note myth Adam says that he never gets either carsick or seasick.
Even though the logo on the trucks is blurred out you can clearly recognize it as Ford logo.
During the Tailgate fuel efficiency test, Adam runs out of gas before Jamie. As Adam is getting fueled up, Jamie and his truck are stopped on the side of the road with him. In the very next shot, Jamie is still in the truck driving. It is likely he doubled back after running out and the editing does not reflect this.
Savage Squirrel: (Holds up sign saying "It's Myth Busting time!")
Adam: Well, they may work for Barry Manilow, but they don't work for crap for me.
Savage Squirrel: Am I missing an eyebrow?
Hunter Hyneman: Quack, damn you.
The Finger in Barrel myth featured a short cartoon in which Adam (Savage Squirrel) is about to be shot by Jamie (Hunter Hyeneman) but puts his finger (paw?) in the gun and Hunter Hyeneman's gun blows up and burns him.
Part of this episode (gun barrel myth) is centered on Bugs Bunny vs. Elmer Fudd.
Wile E. Coyote In the cartoon short the animal character of Savage Squirrel holds up signs expressing his thoughts. This is an obvious reference to the cartoon character Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes Show who would mostly use signs to express his feelings about what is going on with him.
