Steel Toe Amputation was quite fun and informative. It's one thing to imagine my toes smeared flat, quite another to see it happen in clay.

Bottle Rocket was classic MB. I never thought plastic drink bottles could withstand so much pressure. Too bad the safety test literally fell flat.

Speaking of safety, what gives? It should be obvious that launching a heavy water-cooler bottle up into the air will lead to a heavy water-cooler bottle plummeting down hard and fast. Doing that in M5's parking lot instead of an open field is just asking for property damage and ticked-off folks, if not dented skulls. Ditto pressure-testing said bottles - "we should've warned our neighbors"?!?! Where's Safety Supervisor Jamie when you need him? 8-)moreless

  • Jamie and Adam test the myth that a heavy object landing on a steel toe shoe will crush your toes. Also can fly using a jetpack made of 3 liter jugs with water and air as propellant.moreless

This episode has made me feel much more confident in my steel toe shoes. It's not often a 400 pound object lands on your foot in a kitchen so I won't be getting broken toes there anytime soon. That's why I watch this show. When you see some of these urban legends debunked you feel more confident in the things around you. Another thing is that you learn things that could prevent you from harming your self, anyone who has seen the episode about coffee exploding will know what I mean.moreless
