  • Even this title is more interesting than this episode was.

I remember when this show used to be interesting. Ok, so zombies are quite big this week with boring teenagers. But that doesn't mean that everybody wants to see absolutely everyone jumping on the bandwagon. It isn't much of a bandwagon to begin with. Zombies are mind-numbingly boring. They are a result of how PC the world has become. Now, you can't have on-screen conflict with humans, or somebody always gets upset. Enter: zombies, aliens, robots, virtual realities and dreams within dreams within pizza boxes within dreams, or whatever that awful movie was about.moreless
  • Nice effort

Once again we find a show whose strength was in using science to dismiss misinformation fall to the pressures of modern social pop culture. What's next? Mythbusters try to find out what sound a fox really makes? What riding a wrecking ball would really do to a person?

The worst part is, I could forgive all this and just see it as the novelty episode it is, however, they can't even get the mythos correct. Grant using a machine to divert zombies wouldn't have worked simply because in most zombie-related mythologies its not the sound that attracts them, and visually they couldn't tell a pumpkin from a push broom. It's the smell of flesh. I digress.

I went pretty lenient in rating and gave this episode a 6 merely because I know they were trying and had Michael Rooker as a guest star but it was a pretty thinly veiled attempt to distract from the fact that they're running out of myths and Discovery isn't showing episodes as frequently.moreless

  • Awful

Sorry guys, this was just terrible. Coudn't even stand to watch the entire episode.

I laughed in dismay when they said they had to consult with an expert to be as accurate as possible. An expert in a fictional creature? Accuracy for fiction? Come on. Waste of time, just trying to cash in on this zombie craze.
  • Are you kidding me!?!
