Naruto: Hey! Don't bring puppies in here! He's going to interfere with the battle.
Kiba: idiot, Akamaru's going to fight, too.
Naruto: (Speaking to Proctor) Hey, hey! Is that okay?
Proctor: Yes, animals and bugs are treated as weapons. It isn't a problem.
Naruto: Oh, well! It's a good handicap.

Sakura: On your feet, Naruto!
Hinata: Everyone's acknowledging him.
Naruto: Sorry, but you can forget about becoming Hokage. 'Cause I'm the top dog around here.

Asuma: It's bad news for Naruto. Kiba already fights like a wild beast. His chakra is intense enough even without enhancements...the idea of these pills doubling the strength of his chakra...well...they're the perfect weapon for Kiba.

Neji: He's certainly an interesting one...it's not everyday you see a shinobi who would bite his opponent.

Kiba: He used a transformation jutsu! You little! Get off! Let go of me!
Naruto: (spitting) You smell even worse that the dog.

Naruto: Ha! I just wanted to see what you've got. Frankly, you hit like an old lady. You have a better chance of winning this if you send that puppy to fight for you.
Kiba: You're gonna regret that.

Hinata: Kiba's on my team. I should be rooting for him...but I really want to support Naruto...Kiba wouldn't like it...but even so.

Naruto: I've been waiting forever for this! Sorry Kiba, don't take it personally if I blow you away.
Kiba: That's just what I'm going to say, only not so politely. Right, Akamaru?

Kiba: Look at that, it's us against the kid! Hey Akamaru, I think you and I just won the lottery!

Naruto: Sorry, but you can forget about being Hokage. Because I'm the top dog around here!

Hinata: No, you're wrong Kiba. Weak, that's one thing Naruto isn't. Unlike me, unlike the rest of the world, Naruto always believed in himself. It was amazing to see how difficult everything was for him. Nobody helping him, always alone. Nobody acknowledged him. But now, everybody's acknowledging him.
