  • Sharingan vs. Sharingan, guess who loses?

    8.5
An intense epiusode that doesn't have much action but is pretty exciting and informative. The revealing of Akatsuki really made the story more interesting and that technique that Itachi put on Kakashi was really interesting and thought provoking. I was surprised to see Kakashi do his best to brush off what had just happened, but he resumed battle stance even after being stabbed for three days in a row. That really is a true hell, getting stabbed repeatedly and healed after ever session. This episode's cool factor is upped a notch though when Gai appeared. Isn't he just the definition of cool?moreless
  • Kakashi faces off against Itachi.

    10
Itachi and Kisame have started fighting Asuma and Kurenai. Kakashi shows up to help. Itachi starts to use his sharingan and Kakashi is having a hard time blocking his blows. Meanwhile Jiraiya has found Naruto and convinces him he will teach him a new jutsu if he travels with him to find the Fifth Hokage. Naruto gets excited that he will learn a new jutsu. We learn in a flashback that the reason Jiraiya wants to train Naruto himself is he knows that Itachi will be coming for Naruto. Kakashi realizes that Itachi is about to unleash a special sharingan attack and....moreless
  • Itachi and Kakashi fight eachother with their Sharingan. Itachi reveals that he and Kisame are after Naruto. Might Guy comes in to help fight the battle but Itachi and Kisame leave not wanting to make a big fight because they aren't looking for one.moreless

    9.1
Itachi and Kakashi fight in this episode. Itachi used his Tsukuyomi to torture Kakashi. Itachi is very strong and Kakashi didn't have a chance of beating Itachi. Might guy comes in after Itachi used his Tsukuyomi and tries to fight Itachi which is what I would expect from Might Guy. Itachi instead leaves not wanting to make a big battle because he and Kisame just wants to take Naruto. Might Guy must have felt good as ever to do something to save Kakashi... probably to rub it in in Kakashi's face. This was a good episode because we see the way Kisame and Itachi fight.moreless
  • Ugh..Itachi...

    10
Well, I can't stand Itachi. I figured Kakashi would be no match for him, but wow, that was just bad. That jutsu he used with the sharingan was amazing, but I hated it because he used it on Kakashi, my favorite character. Kisame is weird. I wonder what'll happen if they do find Naruto. And he's working with Orochimaru..yuck. I can't stand Orochimaru either. Well, the episode was amazing, though. Kakashi knew all about Itachi's trick with the sharingan, but still, he was no match for the true power of it. Gai stepped in at the end, but Itachi and Kisame left. Great episode.moreless
  • Itachi Rules!

    10
This episode of Naruto is the second in the Return of Itachi story arc. In this episode Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi do battle. Kakashi and Itachi exchange blows, each being very proficient with the Sharingan. Itachi, however, is more so, and quickly attacks Kakashi with his Tsukuyomi. As Kakashi struggles to remain standing, he asks Itachi why he's returned to Konoha. Itachi replies that they're after Naruto, which Kakashi elaborates as meaning they want the demon fox for their organization Akatsuki. Angered that Kakashi knows of their organization, Itachi instructs Kisame to kill Asuma and Kurenai, but to bring Kakashi with him. Before Kisame can do so, Might Guy arrives, forcing the two to flee. Overall this one of the best episodes in the whole series.moreless
