    • The three ninja that were standing behind Chouji, Hinata, Yurinjou when they first showed up, are standing to the far right when everyone is shown while Haruna is crying.

    • When Naruto gets cut from the blasts some of his blood falls onto Princess Haruna's face. When they move for cover the blood is gone.

    • Naruto's face is cut by one of the blasts from the third evil ninja's lense. When he stands to face the ninja the cut is gone.

  • Quotes

    • Haruna: Naruto, why do you protect me?
Naruto: I don't know. Just call me crazy.

    • Naruto: Shikamaru! What are you doing here? It's not like I needed your help.
Shikamaru: Oh ya didn't huh? Then how come you're looking so beat up?
Naruto: What do ya mean? I just tripped, that's all.

    • Shikamaru: (To Naruto) It's such a drag cleaning up after you.

    • Naruto: I've had it with this guy!
Renga: And I have more than had it with you, kid.
Naruto: Don't call me kid! My name's Naruto Uzumaki and I made a promise to someone, a promise to protect the Land of Greens from jerks like you!

    • (Haruna stares angrily at Renga)
Renga: Oh, if looks could kill.

    • Haruna: No! Stop! (Runs out in front of Renga)
Naruto: What are you doing? Get out of here while you still can!
Haruna: It's me you want. In order to succeed you have to eliminate me, not Naruto. Forget him. He has nothing to do with it!
Renga: I see there's a soft-hearted streak that runs in your family. You and your father will have a great deal to discuss when you're reunited in the hereafter.

    • Renga: What's wrong kid? You don't seem quite as spunky.
Naruto: It'll never happen. You're not the one. It was Haruna's father who kept this place safe and peaceful. There's only one person who can be lord of this land. Only one person has the right, and that's Haruna, no one else.

    • Renga: Does this mean you're giving up the princess?
Naruto: If you ever think I'd hand her over to you, you're crazy!
Renga: Think of your friends. If you ever want to see them alive again all you have to do is walk away and go quietly back to your own village.
Naruto: I swore to defend her no matter what! I gave Hinata my word.

    • Renga: So, do you want to know the weather forecast for today?
      Naruto: Weather forecast?
Renga: I'd say sunny with scattered clouds, perfect conditions for dying.

    • Naruto: Is that...?
      Haruna: It looks like ice!
Renga: You see, I'm able to gather the water vapor in the air and instantly transform it into an impervious wall of ice.
Naruto: That's it. He was attacking me with ice. No wonder it was invisible.

    • Renga: I certainly hope you have something else up your sleeve, because that pitiful jutsu will never work.

    • Renga: Three feudal lords is two too many.
Naruto: You'd do that? To your own brothers?!
Renga: What does it matter that they're my brothers? Like I said, if someone is no use to me, I have no use for them. Now, stand aside and let me have the girl.
      Naruto: No way.
      Haruna: Naruto?
Naruto: A guy who'd betray his own brothers. What makes you think someone like that would keep his end of the bargain anyway?! (Charges at Renga)
Renga: Well there you have a point.

    • Renga: I have no use for people who no longer serve a purpose, be they friends, family, or whatever. In fact, that's something I should thank you and your friends for.
Naruto: Thank us? What do you mean?
Renga: For eliminating those weaklings Jiga and Ruiga. You saved me the troublesome task of having to get rid of them myself.

    • Renga: You hear that? What the princess is really saying is that you should stay with her and abandon your friends to die. Not a very noble attitude perhaps, but I have to admit, it's just what I would say.
Naruto: Why am I not surprised?

    • Naruto: What the heck was that he hit me with?
Renga: You have other things to worry about now, like what's to become of those friends of yours I'm holding hostage.
      Naruto: You're what?!
Renga: Don't worry, I'll let your friends live if you just step aside and let me have the girl.
Naruto: Hinata and Choji... (Looks at Haruna)
Renga: Well then, what's it going to be, kid?
Haruna: Naruto, are you going to abandon me just like everybody else?

    • Renga: Boy, do you know today's weather forecast?
      Naruto: Weather forecast?
Renga: Cloudy and partly sunny. Perfect for you to die!

      ~Japanese version

    • Naruto: What in the world is that?
      Haruna: Ice crystals.

      ~Japanese version

    • Renga: It's too bad, but none of your weak ninjutsu will have any effect on me, huh?

      ~Japanese version

    • Renga: Listen up! There are two kinds of people in the world. People who use people, and people who are used! I don't care if it's my parents or my friends, I will use anything in order to rise to power!
Naruto: You idiot! I will never forgive you!

      ~Japanese version

    • Naruto: I made a promise with Hinata...that I would protect Haruna!

      ~Japanese version

    • Haruna: Naruto, why are you protecting me?
      Naruto: I wonder. I don't know myself.

      ~Japanese version

    • Naruto: I refuse.
      Haruna: Naruto!
Naruto: There's no way a guy who forsakes his own brothers would keep a promise with me!

      ~Japanese version

    • Naruto: You guys... Can you even call yourselves brothers?!

      ~Japanese version

    • Renga: Three of your comrades were captured.
      Naruto: What?
Renga: Just hand over the girl. If you do that, you can save your friends.
      Naruto: Choji and Hinata...

      ~Japanese version

    • Haruna: Naruto!
Naruto: I'm fine! But what the hell just flew at me?!

      ~Japanese version
