is tobi really obito ? ( SPOILERS )

    I THINK TOBI IS OBITO CUZ OF THE MASK THAT HE WEARS,I THINK HE WEARS THE MASK TO COVER ALL THE SCARS HE HAS ON HIS FACE FROM HIS INJURY AND PLUS HE HAS THE SAME HAIR STYLE AS OBITO AND THEIR NAMES ARE KIND OF THE SAME EXCEPT SWICTHED AROUND

    Dude! Obito was killed in the Kakashi saga! Rin took out Obito's eye and gave it to Kakashi because Kakashi got his eye cut out and Obito got shashed by a rock and that is why Kakashi has one regular eye and one Sharingan eye he can't turn off.

    It'd be cool though if somehow he survived. He would be blind though since both sides got knocked out and probably a cyborg.

    I believe that it indeed could be Obito.  Afterall, the mask Tobi wears seems to only have a whole for 1 eye and Obito would only have 1 eye.  I think it's also possible that any members of Akatsuki could have recovered Obito's dead body, restored it, and brought him back to life.  That kind of thing would probably be possible for a member of Akatsuki.  I could be wrong but I want to stick by this theory that Tobi is Obito.

    No I really doubt that because Obito was the Naruto of the group. He seemed to good to turn evil.

    i think that rock made obito lose his memory or akatsuki did some work on him, there are so many clues pointing to y tobi is obito like he wears that mask and there is only one hole in his mask only for his right eye can see wich would be the only eye he has since he gave his other to kakashi and same hair style also you acn tell that tobi is going to be very important to the naruto saga, he just joined akatsuki and we have no info on his backround and obito seems to be a very imporatnt charcter so i dont think they would just end obitos life and not have him in the story

    I looked it up. And we don't know what his age is and he seems to be wearing a mask and a hole on his right eye. So he might be Obito. Plus he does have the same hair. The only clues I have is the hole on his eye which is the exact spot he lost his eye and he has the hair. But I mostly think it's not Obito because they showed us clearly in the manga that he died, and might have buried him already so yeah. It might just be a coinsidence.

    Obito was in the story. He was the reason Kakashi changed, and the reason why Kakashi holds the morals he does. Obito was important, but the dude died. To be fair, his death wasn't explicitly shown, and we kind of assumed he died. But I'd say he was a good guy to the end. It'd seem like some cheap plot twist to have Obito, the guy was good enough to change Kakashi and give his life for his teammates, and wound up being killed in action to happen to be alive over a decade later as one of the Leaf's great enemies. *sigh* But, I suppose, in a way, it can't be disproven, so believe it if you feel like it... I just had some urge to type this out... heh...

    ya, and tobi's clumsy, and if i remember right, obito was clumsy too. also tobi spelled backwards is obit, add an O and its obito. plus the spiky hair, and the mask. pretty solid evidence i think.

    Obito was entirely crushed by a rock!!! It's impossible to bring him back to life! (unless they have Dr.Frankinstein)! So Tobi is an entirely new person! Of topic but the leader looks sooo much like Gaara!!! (Only his siullete is seen) its at www.wikipedia.org and type in Akatsuki in the search bar and it shows all the members!
