I've said this before, but I'll restate it in the official thread I guess.  I've seen the first three Naruto movies subbed, and this one is the only good one in my opinion.  If you haven't seen the subbed version, and it's in a convenient theater; I'd recommend checking this one out.

I doubt most of the people here saw it in theaters, so how about adding that? It's the only chance most watchers will get to after all.

All three movies are pretty mediocre. They're like long filler episodes with nice animation, but just as equally pointless. The shippuden movie look somewhat interesting though.

Seeing how the Naruto movie will be premiering in theaters tomorrow, I thought I'd make a thread for discussion of it. This thread will remain stickied for a while, and will be un-stickied probably when the activity dies down.

Please, only discuss the movie here for now! In this thread you can either rant about or say how good the dub was. Please, refrain from all spoilers until the movie is shown tomorrow! In the meantime, feel free to state your anticipation. Also, stay on topic!

On another note, this will finally settle the "What will the Rasengan be called?" debate, though we can almost be positive that it's still Rasengan.

Lol Gay its called Spiraling Sphere... according to wiki

That's what Rasengan means, not what the movie calls it.

The manga changed the names of a lot of moves including Rasengan.

    Yay! It IS Rasengan!

XD When Naruto was getting prepared to use it, I was expecting something stupid.

Overall, they did a really great job on dubbing the movie and picking Lex Lang as Dotou was a pretty common choice, and yet worked really well in the end.

What did all of you think about it?

The first movie was the only good one. The others sucked @rse...
Who actually made the movie's? The same people who do the anime?
