Have you guys seen the big rant for Naruto/Sakura. It really gives you the impression that it will be Sakura, and it is all based on true facts.

    Yeah praise for the maker

You have Sour Patch Kids!!? How I miss those.

But you're right. Sakura would be the clear winner at this point in time. She's much more the "come out and say it" type than Hinata.

However! Could you not argue as well that Hinata has put a few "moves" on Naruto already, though he's just too dopey to pick up on them? The offer to copy of her and the giving of the ointment come to mind. Though personally I see those as her just being nice, others see them as signs of affection. In any case, if Naruto could "see underneath the underneath", he would perhaps pick up on these (if there is anything to pick up). As it is, he cannot.

Oh, you could certainly say that. However, like you said, it goes both ways. Just because someone gives you ointment doesn't necessarily mean you like them. Bu Hinata has also attempted to tell Naruto her feelings many times. I just don't think she'll ever get the courage to tell him, even if he started to go out with Sakura.

I think we should just agree to disagree and the only certian thing is that the author has laid enough of a basis to twist the story in either direction based on his whim, it all really depends on the authors mood when or if he decides to do a pairing i guess...

    I approve this message.

And sorry for my seeming "double talk". I realise I might sound like I am suggesting either one girl or the other, but my real intention is to suggest neither and confuse people.

Counting the fillers and her appearences imbetween and her brief appearence at the start of part 2 which, to be fair, has practically JUST started, i mean theyve hardly shown loads of characters but that doesnt mean they wont have whole arcs they may play promibent roles in for all we know

Haha...thanks all of you who read my posting. So for all you Naru/Hina shippers....nice as she may be...she literally hasn't shown up for probably 100 chapters overall. NADA. Whereas Naruto and Sakura...well, their relationship is very much being developed. But hey, if you don't believe me, check out my post! :-)

I wont correct on the number of chapters stated in the previous post, and just since there was little reason for her to be involved in a arc about fighting with sasuke and orochimaru doesnt mean she wont show up later on and, considering the author is directly involved in the anime and storylines and considering how many fillers she appears in, i wouldnt call it quits on the underdog just yet...

Naru/Hina all the way! He'll go for her, and Sakura will be a little jealous, but more she'll be sad because she'll feel like she's now lost both her teammates.

The timeskip is merely the widely used fan term given to the 2 1/2 year gap when which Naruto was training and leading into what has become unnoficcialy known as Naruto Part 2 for some wierd reason Ive yet to comprehend.

Your logic is backwards. It is the Anime that is based on the Manga. What happens in the Manga usually happens in the anime.

So the way things are, it's not easy to predict what the writer's thinking. Sure, to the naked eye, it seems Naruto and Sakura are hitting it off. However, you'd never know what he has in store for Hinata.

If you're getting my logic of thinking.

Hey I get it. Kishimoto is very good at surprising you.
