how do i watch it? serisoly i just see a pivture if naruto in the water
  • In which we find out just how cool Kakashi really is . . .

    10
This has got to be my favourite episode in the series so far (I'm currently halfway through the 2nd season). It's just plain eye candy. For guys, the battle sequence is a sure crowd pleaser. For girls? Come on, it's Kakashi, only about the coolest, sexiest male anime character ever!

In this episode, we get to see just what the sharingan is capable of, and yet the mystery is still not fully revealed until "The Sharingan Shatters" a few episodes later. How was he foreseeing Zabuza's moves? I was so curious that I had to look it up online!

Anyway, to make a long story short, no one should give up on this series before seeing this episode. Trust me, it changes everything!

But will we ever see the man behind the mask . . .
  • good episode

    9.8
Sakura shocked by the unfolding scene, Naruto takes it upon himself to take the lead. He performs the Kage Bunshin (Shadow Clone Jutsu) and attacks. Zabuza's power easily overwhelms Naruto but with Sasuke in the clear, Naruto throws a Fuuma Shuriken and Sasuke does the Shadow Windmill technique in the hopes of a direct hit. Just before impact, the flying blade zooms past the clone on a collision course with the real Zabuza. Zabuza catches it with his free hand but not understanding the technique, the second blade comes right at him. Zabuza laughs and leaps over this second attack, but is shaken by a sudden vision from behind. To his amazement, Naruto appears, and throws a kunai straight at Zabuza.
Having no other choice but to move out of the way, Zabuza pulls his hand from Kakashi's watery prison. But as he dodges, the kunai nicks his face and goes through the clone. Angry by such an action, Zabuza proceeds to spin the shuriken he caught and throw it back at the now open Naruto. But right before the blade takes flight, blood fills the air. Kakashi stands before Zabuza with his hand raised, stopping the once spinning blade. Kakashi praises the boys on a job well done and taunts Zabuza for being beaten by kids. Naruto then proceeds to tell of the plan that was devised to use himself as a Fuuma Shuriken and let Sasuke toss him at the enemy to insure the freedom of their teacher.
Kakashi and Zabuza now have a standoff and then both split off and land away from each other. Zabuza begins a series of hand seals, which are:

Ox, Monkey, Rabbit, Rat, Boar, Bird, Ox, Horse, Bird, Tiger, Dog, Tiger, Snake, Ox, Sheep, Snake, Pig, Sheep, Ox, Monkey, Bird, Dragon, Ox, Horse, Sheep, Tiger, Snake, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Bird, Rat, Boar, Monkey, Dragon, Bird, Ox, Horse, Sheep, Tiger, Snake, Rat, Monkey, Rabbit, Boar, Dragon, Ox, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Bird, Rat, Boar, Bird,

with quick reflexes, Kakashi is copying every word and movement that Zabuza is doing. They both perform the Water Dragon Jutsu at the same time, two giant Water Dragons (as the name suggest) appear and intertwine with one another. The attacks clash and there is a great explosion of water, as the four look on they see the two battling figures in a dead lock. Just as Zabuza is trying to figure out what is going on, a lone masked figure appears unnoticed by the fighters or the onlookers. Breaking the deadlock, the two encircle each other only to do the same action. Kakashi even goes as far as to finish his sentences, now having Zabuza firmly in disillusion; Kakashi performs a genjutsu that shows Zabuza a mirror image of himself. With Zabuza's confidence broken, Kakashi does the Water Style - Water Vortex jutsu.

Caught off guard by the sudden attack, Zabuza is blown away in the ensuing torrent and is washed away through the forest. Zabuza cannot figure out how Kakashi is doing it "He knows my moves before I do". Struggling within the current, Zabuza tries to escape but in the effort is washed up against a tree and then struck in the arms and legs by Kakashi's kunai. Left with no other choice other than death, Kakashi prepares to deal the final blow. Then out of nowhere, 2 needle like darts rip into the side of Zabuza's neck. As he falls, the others look to see where the attack came from. Seeing that it came from the now visible masked assailant, Kakashi jumps down and inspects the newly dead corpse. He reveals that the masked individual is a hunter ninja from the Hidden Mist Village.
Faced with the death of this fierce opponent, Naruto prepares to attack the masked ninja. Halted by Kakashi for his rush to conclusions, frustrated by the fact the masked ninja is just a kid like them and yet did what they could not, takes its toll on Naruto. Kakashi comforts him and then the masked ninja then says that he will dispose of the body and that there is no other need for their help. Naruto, having lost all confidence in himself, begins to beat the ground in frustration. Kakashi tells Naruto to do better next time, and just as the mood is lightened by Tazuna's cheerful words and the group starts to head out, Kakashi passes out.
  • Kakashi is freed from his prison!!!!!!!!!!!

    10
Naruto's plan works and he is able to get Kakashi released from the water prison that Zabuza had him in. Kakashi and Zabuza then face off. Anything Zabuza does, Kakashi also does the same. It seems like a standoff until Kakashi beats Zabuza by doing a water attack jutsu before Zabuza can do the same thing. Zabuza is knocked into a tree. Before Kakashi can do anything else, Zabuza is hit by two needles in the neck by a mysterious ninja named Haku. Zabuza falls lifeless to the ground. Haku says that he was sent to hunt down Zabuza and eliminate him.
  • Hatake Kakashi Shows Sharingan.

    9.5
Kakashi totally shows Zabuza up. But wow, that is a ton of hand signs and fast. I think the hand signs took too much time out of the episode, to be perfectally honest. Sakura also didn't get that much action in this episode. Oh well. At the end we get the first appearance of Haku, who totally pretends to kill Zabuza. Only Kakashi realizes it was fake. I didn't get the ending, it was so out of character for Naruto to be so frustrated and everything and just completely lose confidence in himself and everything. I know that you are getting tired of me saying this (if you have been reading my reviews lately), but again, anoter good episode.
  • good

    9.1
Kakashi make Zabuza look like a idiot doing the same moves as Zabuza at the same time. It was really cool to be able to control the water and shape it into a dragon.

Sure made Zabuza lose his mind when he was freaking when Kakashi was able to pull the advance jutsu before he could do his. Quite a water experience, blasting through the tress.

At the end, a guy with the mask came in and killed Zabuza before Kakashi was able to. But is this really the end of Zabuza or will there be another fight a later on as I think the guy with the mask is up to something.
  • Kakashi and Zabuza fight. Haku takes Zabuza after he loses.

    8.1
This episode was very informative because it explained how the trap that Naruto had planed worked. Naruto explained and started being annoying by acting so high and mighty. He acted as if he was the only one who had helped carry out the plan. Sasuke helped too but Naruto didn't have a of noticing that Sasuke wasn't gloating. Zabuza seems to be defeated by a hunter-nin who is really working for Zabuza. When it was figured out that the hunter-nin was working for Zabuza I felt that there was no surprise in that because there are so many tricks to the mission. Kakashi collapses because of using his sharingan that is covered by his fore head protector. At the moment I thought that Kakashi would need much rest because it seemed as if he had worked so hard to defeat the Jonin.
  • Great......

    8.5
This episode continues from the last one when Kakashi is free from the water prison, and uses his sharingan to copie exactaly what Zabuza is doing, so Zabuza gets annoyed, and tries to trick him with a very long jutsu, but kakashi is able to fallow, and even uses it before Zabuza. So Zabuza beleves that he can see the future, and Kakashi leads him on to believe it and tells zabuza that this is his last battle, so Zabuza is scared, but an odd boy comes and takes Zabuza away. Then kakashi passes out from using up all of his chackra from copying Zabuzas Jutsu, and they take Kakashi to the bridge builders house, and thats all that happens in this episode, see Ya! :)
  • Again, a good episode.

  • Kakashi and the gang meets Haku after his battle with Zabuza!

    8.6
Thsi starts out recapping what happened last time when Sasuke and Naruto used their Shadow Mill Shuriken technique. Naruto was actually the Shuriken and he poofs out of it and throws a kunei at Zabuza. When they reveal that Naruto actually hid in the shadow of the Shuriken, and Zabuza let go of the water Prism; Zabuza and Kakashi fight in the water using a Water Dragon Ninjutsu. Kakashi is able to copy Zabuza's handsigns using his Sharingan which he activated recently. Meanwhile they don't know Haku is secretly watching. Kakashi gets zabuza frustrated and wipes him out when Haku comes. Naruto gets mad at Haku for being better, but Kakashi calms him down.. sort of. When Haku is left and the gang goes back to the village, Kakashi for some reason falls flat on his face!
  • Naruto has a large and colorful cast of characters, running a gamut of detailed histories and complex personalities, and allowing many of them their fair share in the spotlight.

    10
Kakasi has a special eye called the sharingan. It was developed from the eye of the hyuga clan. The sharingan was a bloodline limit ability which should have only been passed down to certain people in the uchiha clan. Kakashi is not from the Uchiha clan so we wonder how he got it it is said to been have surgically put in there, that is why he only has one. You never see it until chapter nine when Zabuza comes and picks a fight with him since gatoh wants to kill the man that kakaskhi and his team are protecting. when he uses the sharingan he is able to do any jutsu that a ninja does in this case it would be the water clone. they fight Zabuza and Kakashi and then Kakashi messes with Zabuzas mind in order to do the water fall technique wich almost kills Zabuza who is left in a near to death state by his companion. Naruto ghets pissed when the little kid about his age "killed Zabuza" and thats the end.
  • Kakashi's power

    8.3
In this episode we get to see that Naruto's brilliant plan to free Kakashi from Zabuza's water jutsu trap succeeds and Kakashi finally is ready to demonstrate his skills. Kakkashi then realizes that the only way to take on Zabuza is by using his powerfull doujutsu (eye technique) sharingan a technique that even though only shinobis from the Uchiha clan posses Kakashi has too. While Kakshi continues his battle we get to see that sharingan's real power is the prediction of the enemy's movements and immediat copy of them. After a long fight Kakashi finally defeats Zabuza but before he gets to kill him another person shows up kills him first and removes his body from the landscape. Who is this person?
  • Ding-dong the demon's dead! Temporarily at least!

    10
Naruto and Sasuke broke Kakashi-sensei free from Zabuza's water prison and the fight continues. Kakashi uses his Sharingan eye on Zabuza, and well, I kinda forget what happens after that, but then Zabuza suddenly collapses. Kakashi notices senbon sticking out of his neck. He feels for Zabuza's pulse, and declares Zabuza dead. A boy jumps from a nearby tree and tells Team 7 and Tazuna that his name his Haku, and he was the one who killed Zabuza. Haku also says that he's a Hunter Nin from the Land of Mist. He takes Zabuza's body and flees, and Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura continue to escort Tazuna home. Kakashi falls over from exhaustion from the fight, and he has to limp all the way there.
  • Zabuza killed???!!

    10
After Kakashi is saved, he attacks Zabuza with multiple water techniques. He also seems to copy and look into the future with his Sharingan and uses the many water jutsus that Zabuza knows. Kakashi\'s water jutsus eventually throw Zabuza into a tree and prepares to kill him, but is \"murdered\" by a tracker nin from the Hidden Mist Village.

Secretly, the nin is an apprentice of Zabuza and faked his death.

With his teamwork with Sasuke, we see Naruto\'s strategy unfold and Zabuza is tricked into breaking his hold on Kakashi to avoid certain death. So this leaves us to this: Who is this masked nin?
  • This review is mainly a copy of the last 2 episodes...A review from an artist.

Zabuza or kakashi a match worth seeing. Kakashi may have the sharingan but Zabuza is one of the seven swords men. Kakashi tells the team to run but they are persistant and stay to fight. Kakashi was sure his team, team kakashi wasn't capable of wining but he was majorly wrong the team manages to free him. Team kakashi is about to finish him when a tracker ninja comes out of the forest and gets Zabuza. This is strange because tracker ninjas never take their hostage away. They finish them on the spot, That concerns team Kakashi. This is my masterpiece.

  • Sweet Episode, we see how the Sharingan is really like

    9.8
This Episode is one of my favorites. Kakashi ultimately beats the living daylights out of Zabuza with his move the Sharingan. But before he can finish the job, a mystyrious boy(or girl for some people) comes and and finishs off Zabuza instead. I liked this episode because we see Kakashi fight And how he did the cool hand signals.Though i didnt like the ending that much, but still cool episode.
  • Zabuza cleverly beats up Kakashi while Sasuke and Naruto fend for their life

    9.1
Zabuza informs Kakashi that Haku studied his Sharigan. Zabuza tells him his kekke ghenkai is no longer useful. Zabuza explains to Kakashi, while hiding in the mist, the elements of Kakashi's Sharigan. There are two parts of Kakashi's Sharigan

Piercing eye-copies the hand signs and formation to exactness
Hypnotic eye-bores into the mind like ginjutsu and hypnotises the opponent allowing the Sharigan user to see his opponent's next move

Zabuza counters it in neutralizing the Sharigan by

zero visibility mist which neutralizes the piercing eye
eyes closed preventing Kakashi from boring into his mind

Zabuza seems like he is going to win but Kakashi has a plan.
  • In this episode we finally see what the true capabilities of the Sharingan are.

    9.3
I really liked this episode because in this episode Kakashi totally kicked Zabuza's @$$. He mainly used the powers of the Sharingan in this battle. He used the piercing eye, which sees every detail, to copy Zabuza's hand signs almost instanteneously and he also used the hypnotic eye which as the name suggest hypnotize the enemy. With these powers he was able to beat Zabuza. After the battle Zabuza was killed by a tracker ninja and Kakashi collapsed due to the huge strain that is put on the body when someone uses the sharingan for an extended period of time.

This is one of my favorite episodes because the fight was so amazing. Also, they added a nice touch of saying all the names of the hand signs.
  • Naruto and gang make to the land of the waves after being told about gato they find there selves facing a assasin named Zabuza a.k.a. Assasin of the mist. Kakashi tells them and thens shows the sharingan. The mist gets thicker so they begin to fight.

    10
This episode has a real shocker in it. What did Sasuke men by when he said \"Sharingan. That trait only belongs in my village unless.....\". So does that make Kakashi a member from the Uchi clan or not? After he shows the Sharingan to Zabuza, they then go at it when Zabuza ues a hidden mist jutsu making it hard to see and letting Zabuza be the master at the silent kill techniquebe very dangerous. He then tells Naruto and gang to block the bridge builder so they do but while that Sasuke is trembling with fear as they fight.
  • Didn't do a good job of keeping my interest.

    7.5
Naruto's brilliant plan was executed to perfection, allowing Kakashi to be freed of the water cage that Zabuza created to trap him within. Naruto then goes on to explain how he did it. Kakashi then battles Zabuza, copying every technique that he was about to do, such as water dragons and waterfalls. Zabuza is thinking to himself why Kakashi is able to copy his techniques at the same time he does them. He then does a little test, like running around in circles, and it's as if Kakashi was a reflection of Zabuza. Then, Kakashi finishes Zabuza off with a powerful waterfall technique. Kakashi was going to finish him off with his kunai, but a hunter-nin from the Hidden Village of Mist intervened and finished Zabuza off personally. The hunter then takes Zabuza's corpse with him. Kakashi tells his group that they're not done yet, and they need to bring Tazuna to his house, but then he mysteriously faints.

I expected a better fight to conclude this fight. Some of the techniques were cool, like the water dragon and the waterfall, but overall, what dragged this episode down was how Naruto had to go on and explain how he executed his plan. It might be a little confusing for some people to keep up, but dammit, you don't have to spend five minutes thoroughly chronicling your every move. It kind of feels like Dragonball Z in a sense, except they're dragging out how they performed their techniques.
  • The concluison of the battle between Kakashi and Zabuza

    10
Naruto’s kunai knife goes through the path between Zabuza’s hand and Kakashi’s barrier. He lifts his hand out, releasing Kakashi. Naruto is proud of himself, having used the shadow replication techinique to hid that he transformed into a Fuuma shuriken. He had no intention of defeating Zabuza. He left one of his replicas and transformed into a Fuuma shuriken, which he then threw to Sasuke, who used his own technique. He hid in the shadow of the shuriken until he got close enough and then broke the water prison.
  • The concluison of the battle between Kakashi and Zabuza

    9.3
This episode begins to show the depth of the true power of the Sharingan. An excellent end to a long battle, although I would have prefered Kakashi to have preformed the coup de grâce. Then, Zabuza would have actually died. (Oops. That was a bit of a spoiler, huh?) Anyway, as good an episode as this was, I was somewhat disappointed with the dub. I was, however, shocked and impressed that they decided not to translate the naming of the animals as Zabuza and Kakashi preformed the simultaneous hand signs. A very nice touch, but besides that, the dialoge wasn't what I expected. I suppose if it were on Adult Swim, there would be some mild swearing. (ex. Fullmetal Alchemist or Inuyasha) One of the only times I was happier with the Japanese version of any anime epsidoe.
  • Fantastic conclusion to the long battle between Zabuza and Kakashi.

    8.6
It's a really good episode where Kakashi reveals the true potential of the Sharingan Eye, and I find it to be really exciting. Zabuza's death was rather plain, seeing that he has been staked around his body with six daggers.

I find this episode really exciting to watch, but I liked the japanese version better. If it were to air on Adult Swim, the dubbed script would hold some minor curse words, like Inuyasha.

Regardless, I think that "Kakashi: Sharingan Warrior" is a great battle conclusion, and the sense that the mission is not entirely over, I'm well anticipating the next dubbed episode.
