Yakumo: My parents were put to death by order of the Third Hokage!
Naruto: No way! It's a lie! A lie! I'm not going to listen!
Guy: All right! I'll take care of things here. The rest of you take Kurenai and Yakumo back to the village. Organize a back-up unit.
Kurenai: They're masters of genjutsu. You going to be alright alone?
Guy: Are you kidding? With this finely tuned lethal weapon of a body. You think I can't handle their genjutsu tricks? I can handle them jutsu wait and see. (Does his patented smile and laughs) Don't you get it? Jutsu wait and see? (Laughs)
Sakura: Oh boy.
Naruto: (Caught in a genjutsu) Stop it! Let go of me you overgrown weed!
Sakura: Oh, good grief. Hey, Naruto. (Walks over to a struggling Naruto) Release!
Naruto: (Snaps out of genjutsu) Oh, morning Sakura. Is breakfast ready?
Sakura: Why do you always have to rush in like that, you idiot?!
Naruto: That's right! Yakumo and Kurenai-sensei! (Runs off)
Sakura, Guy, Kiba, and Hinata: Sigh.
Naruto: (Caught in a genjutsu) Whoa, that is one monster bean stalk!
Yakumo: Please help me.
Kurenai: It'll be alright; I'm here now. No matter what happens, I promise I'll make sure you're safe.

Kurenai used a sealing technique similar to the one Kakashi had used on Sasuke.
Kurenai used pain to release herself from Unkai's genjutsu, just like what Sasuke did against Orochimaru in episode 28, and Shikamaru from Tayuya as well.
Gai does the move: Konoha Full Kick Soccer, which will only appear in the filler.
The new ending gives a small teaser as to what Naruto's outfit looks like after the time skip. This symbolizes that the long line of fillers will soon be coming to an end.
This episode is part of a 90-minute special filler commemorating the move to Thursdays.
Jack and the Beanstalk:
In English dubbed version, Naruto mentions the giant plants with giant peas as "One Monster Beanstalk!" Based on English fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk.
