Waking up late, Naruto hurries to the stadium where the Chunin matches will be held, along the way he stops at his old training ground and meets up with Hinata. Naruto tells Hinata that he's afraid he'll lose, but with Hinata's encouragement and sort-of-confession of her feelings, Naruto is filled with renewed confidence and proceeds to the stadium leaving a shell-shocked Hinata in his wake. Now Naruto must try to make it the stadium before it's too late, and Konohamaru has a plan to help him out.moreless

What the hell...

The main matches are finally going to start, and Naruto is fighting the very first match. He takes a little detour to the training area that made him a Genin and encounters the shy Hinata. The two have a little conversation that leaves Hinata happy, but Naruto late for the entrance ceremony! He needs a quick way to get to the stadium fast and collaborates with Konohamaru on different methods in doing so. All of them fail, but he eventually gets to the stadium in one piece.

Boring, flat out boring. It was murder to my eyes and ears seeing Hinata struggling to spit out her words without blushing and looking down with a voice so low that only Piccolo can hear. That sequence just felt like a total waste of time. If its purpose was to get Naruto and Hinata closer, it did a bad job. The second half was even worse. Can't even call it comic relief, it was just a waste of time seeing Naruto running around looking for faster ways to get to the stadium. Meh, at least the main matches are going to start.moreless

Naruto vs. Neji a battle first

Wow, Naruto is indeed late. Wow, Naruto obviously Naruto woke up late and then thank god he just made it on time to the stadium. He looked nervous. The new round sheet was changed. Dosu's death led Shikamaru to fight Temari. Well first off, Hiashi tells HInabi that Neji is even stronger than her. The round starts off Neji vs. Naruto. The battle starts off with Naruto throwing Kunais at Neji and Neji blocking them. He at least earned Kiba's respect. Neji was quick and blocked all Naruto's attacks. When Naruto used Shadow Clone, the jonins and proctors were all so proud and surprised. But Neji comes through like Tenten said. His defense is useful.moreless

Naruto walks back to his room to get some sleep before the final competition tomorrow. Shikamaru tries to get his dad to go home with him, but his dad has had too much saki and wants to stay and party. Naruto goes to bed, but cannot get any sleep. He gets up the next morning and starts to doubt himself. He goes out to the training field where he trained as a genin. He runs into Hinata there and they start to talk. Naruto lets her know that he is doubting himself and she gives him a pep talk to brighten his spirits...moreless

Naruto woke up late the day of the chunin exams. He scurries out of his him and gets racing. On the way he meets up with Konohamaru, Naruto was almost there it was only like 100 yards and he was straight in front of it. But konohamaru said he could get him there faster by going through a shortcut, but it turned out the shortcut was sealed, konohamaru then took him to another shortcut. Which caused them to be even father away. Now was a place with a buch of bulls near by. So Naruto hopped on and they got mad at him and they chased him to the stadium. They throw him in and its over. So it just showed him making unnecessary steps to get to the stadium.moreless

- Naruto's entrance into the stadium is a mirror of the traditional running of the bulls ceremony in Pamplona, Spain, before the annual bullfight festivals there. In the festival, people race ahead down the narrow streets of Pamplona and into the stadium plaza where the fights are held. Ironically, Naruto's shadow clones getting bottlenecked and pushing against each other to get through the stadium's entrance is similar to Pamplona's stadium entrance which has the same problem as the entrance is less wide then the street and produces a comparable hazard. People piling on top of each other trying to get through the bottleneck is one of the chief dangers of the Pamplona festival.
