In episode 81, Kisame shredded the top layer of Asuma's left arm, shedding a lot of blood. Yet, in one scene in this episode after Gai arrives, the blood is almost completely gone when they show Asuma again.

When Shikamaru gives up, Ino gets mad and screams: "What is he thinking? Doesn't he want to be a Jonin?" when in fact these are the Chunin exams.
In this episode, we see Shikamaru still has his shadow attached to Temari, yet at the end of episode 64, his shadow is gone.
