  • This live anthology series was broadcast live from new york and lasted only one season in 1950. The show was hosted by William Gaxton. It was a Dramatic Anthology but the themes for each show was varied. The series had westerns, Comedys and operas.

    Some typical episodes were "A Double-Eyed Deceiver" with Van Heflin on September 21, 1950, "Waltz Dream" with Kitty Carlisle on January 4, 1950 and "Peggy" starring Joan Bennet on February 8, 1951.
    On the western front was an O'Henry story called "A Double-Dyed Deceiver" starring John Payne, Metropolitan Opera star Marguerite Piazza starred "The Box Supper" and Patricia Morison starred in a Gilbert and Sullivan opera called "Trial By Jury"
    One show on the serious side, Barbara Bel Geddes of Dallas, starred in a John Steinbeck story called "Molly Morgan". More series episodes starred Grace Kelly, Otto Kruger, Fredric March and Lee Bowman.
