Nash (seeing Rachel still working): Don't you have a life?
Rachel (chuckles): Don't you?
Nash: Well, gratefully after this morning, I do. I'm damn glad to have one. Wanna go grab a bite to eat or somethin'?
Rachel: You know, I would love to. But I have to file this stuff.
Nash: Oh, you want some help?
Rachel: No, no, no. This is not a captian's job. This is my job.
Nash: Well, maybe I could show you a couple tricks.
Nash (putting the 2.5 million in Deputy Chief Max Pettit's lap): Well, there you go Max, since you're gonna take credit for it anyway, you may as well take the money.
Max: Good work.
Nash: Oh, come on, Max, you could at least say it like you mean it.
Max: I didn't know that you needed to be stroked.
Nash (laughs): And I thought that you could hide your disappointment better. Uh, do you need help out to the car with that?
Max: I don't think so.
(After Eldon handcuffed them to a pipe in a building that's going to be blown up in about 5 minutes. Then Bettina came, knocked Eldon out and took Nash's car keys)
Joe: Just outta curiosity, how many pounds of explosives do you think they got in this place?
Nash: Oh, probably 25% more than they need.
Joe: Well, I guess it wouldn't be too smart to try and blow this place and it doesn't implode, huh?
Nash: Yeah, you're right... Well, one good thing is if we go, at least we have the satisfaction of knowing that idiot Eldon is going with us.
Nash (as he and Joe are handcuffed to a pipe): Don't you take my car, Rick.
Rick: Oh, come on. What good is the 'Cuda to you if you're gonna be dead? Have a little respect for the machine. At least you know somebody will be enjoying it.
Nash: You better run fast and far, bubba.
Rick: I intend to. And you know what? Why don't I tell you exactly how I'm gonna do it, not that it'll do you any good. Remember Butch Mills? You busted him once.
Joe: Travel agent?
Rick: Exactly.
Nash: You're dead.
Rick: That's... ironic. Well, bye-bye, enjoy your last few minutes on earth. Good-bye! (leaves them there handcuffed to the pipe)
Nash (as he and Joe are handcuffed to a pipe): What about our negotations?
Eldon: I changed my mind, Bridges, I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonnna let you blow up in a lot of little pieces. Because I don't want any body to find your bodies. You go boom!
Nash: That's very considerate of you, Eldon.
Eldon: I'm smart, Bridges.
Nash: Very considerate, thank you.
Eldon (while he has a gun pointed at Joe's head): There's a time to fight and there's a time not to fight. You fight me now and he dies. We all die!
Nash: Well, you're for sure gonna die. You think about that.
Dov (reading his poem for Amy): 'Dear Amy, I am sorry that you were late. Afficiatly, Dov'. (Joe makes a motion for him to continue, but that's it) What, too sappy? (Joe groans)
Juliet: Rick, what are you doing?
Rick: I just took a shower. I like to air dry.
Juliet: No, I mean, what are you doing here? I thought that you were in prison.
Rick: No, no. I tampered it out this morning, so you and I can be together...
Juliet: Stay away from me, you freak!
Rick: But what about all the letters you wrote to me while I was in prison?
Juliet: Stay away from me! (Harvey and Antwon come busting in) He's in there. Watch out - he's nude!
(After Joe and Nash survived the explosion, Harvey and a team go in the building to find them)
Nash: Harvey, Eldon's just down under there. He's still breathin' I can't believe it. Get some cuffs on him. Maybe two pair.
Nash (after they survived the explosion): Well, that's as close to a gimme as we're ever gonna get.
Nash: You want the front or the back?
Joe: Doesn't matter to me. (they play rock, paper, scissors and tie both times) I'll take the back.
Eldon: I was rehablitated in prison. I'm a different man now.
Harvey: Oh, so if I ask you a few questions you're not gonna break anything, huh?
Rick: It's so good to see you guy.
Nash: Eh... It may not be as good as you think it is.
Rick: Okay, I admit it. I had a momentary laspe in judgement, but I learned my lesson. I did and, Nash, my understanding is the parole board is predisoped to showin' me a little mercy, and maybe you'll show me a little mercy...
Nash: Sure.
Rick: I was wonderin' for old times sake, your old friend Rick Bettina you'd give me one or two kinds words on my behalf.
Nash: You've got it. ... Just tell me where the 2.5 million dollars is.
Rick: Nash. Look at me. I don't know where that money is. If I had any idea, I would tell you. I swear to god I would tell you, Nash, do you think? That I like being in prison?
Joe: What we think is that you think that you're going to get out of prison and live like a king on that money. That's what we think, Rick.
Rick: You're not gonna let that happen, are you? (Joe shakes his head 'no') You're not gonna say a few words on my behalf. You would rather see me rot in prison!
Nash: You mean, than being out spending the money from pention plans of hard working police officers. That you stole? You bet your furry little ass, yeah.
