      • Nash: So did you get your answers?
Caitlin: As much as I ever will.

      • Elliot: Somebody on that desk was selling secrets. My theory is that Caitlin was in on it with McDonald.
Nash: Man, oh, man. She trusts you and you're out to get her. God I love your business.
Elliot: She's got you all twisted up in knots, Captain. Tell me where she is.
Nash: You better get a grip, bubba. This is strictly professional between you and me. I have nothing to win or lose with Caitlin Cross personally. But I don't like you. You smell funny to me.
Elliot: You know, my daddy once told me 'never start a fight with someone you don't know.'
Nash: Well, your daddy was absolutely right. You might want to ponder his advice.

      • Elliot: Caitlin worked for me in the Russian section for five years. Trust was the only thing that kept us both alive.
Nash: Really? I thought secrecy was the only thing that kept spies alive.

      • Nash: Did you know that Nick and my mother used to take dance lessons together?
Cassidy: Yeah. I saw the photos, they looked really elegant together.
Nash: Could you see in those photos that her heart really wasn't in it? I don't know. Maybe it was because she was sick. But, Nick never got to compete. And I think that, that really meant something to him. It was really important to him. You know what I'm trying to say?
Cassidy: Yeah, I do. (hugs him) Thanks.

      • Evan (about Caitlin): So are we going to help her?
        Nash: Yes, we're helping.
Harvey: Because... It's the right thing to do.
        Nash: Exactly.

      • Harvey: Autopsy came back on Langdon. Two rounds to the back on the head, point blank. They found a gun a couple blocks away in a dumpster.
        Nash: Caitlin's gun?
Harvey: Yeah, ballistics matched the slugs.
        Nash: Prints?
        Harvey: Hers, Nash. Only hers.
Nash: It's like I said, textbook. Hell, it's practically comical.
Harvey: Yeah, unless you're Caitlin. Okay, boss, I hate to be the one to bring it up, but what if everything is as it looks? What if Caitlin isn't what she appears to be? What if Langdon was right about her?
Nash: Harvey, don't you go AWOL on me now.
Harvey: No, I'm just sayin' 'what if'.

      • Nash: Well, you can go on back to bed.
Caitlin: Yeah. Do you think we could stay up a minute, maybe?
Nash: You mean you actually got some sleep? What's your secret?
Caitlin: I, um... I have a confession to make.
        Nash: Oh, good.
Caitlin: Something I really didn't tell you before.
Nash: I like bed time stories.
Caitlin: The man that Machino killed, Tim Mcdonald, my deskmate. Um... Well, we were actually romantically involved.
Nash: Whew. Well, that's a relief. I thought you were gonna tell me that you cheated on your mileage reports or somethin'.
Caitlin: The company claimed that Tim was trading intelligence with the Russians.
        Nash: Was he?
Caitlin: Absolutely not. At least I don't think that he was. The company said that he was demanding more money, that he was becoming a security risk to the Russians so they killed him. I have spent the last three years of my life trying to clear Tim's name.
Nash: I'm starting to get a different picture of my friend Caitlin Cross.
Caitlin: After Tim was killed... Well, you know, I started to realize how alone I was. I, um... I was at this job and I couldn't tell anybody about it and the only person in the world that I- I could confide in was gone. (voice breaking) I just had nobody to turn to and I-I didn't know what to do. (Nash hugs her)
Nash: It's okay. You're okay. You're not alone now. Just took you a little more time than you thought. (Caitlin pulls away from their hug and looks into Nash's eyes and tilts her head, ready to kiss him) You better go back and get some sleep.

      • Nash: Uh, used to be a psychatrist's office.
Caitlin (looking at a picture of a half naked guy): Lovely.
Nash: Uh, for some inexplicable reason Joe and I have a prolific gay clientele. Don't ask me to explain it.

      • Caitlin: So do you have any advice as to what I should do, Nash?
Nash: Oh, yeah. I got some big advice. Right after you tell me what's going on. You can begin whenever you're comfortable.
Caitlin: I was working at the C.I.A. as a systems analyst. At my desk we were in charge of monitoring weapons grade plutonium for the Russians.
        Nash: 'We'?
Caitlin: Yes, 'we'. We always work two to a desk, my partner. His name was Tim McDonald. He was murdered.
        Nash: By them or us?
Caitlin: I don't know, Nash. That's why I quit, I couldn't tell lies from the truth, the only reliable piece of information that I had was that the assassin was Jeff Machino.
Nash: Any idea who's trying to kill him now?
        Caitlin: No.
Nash: Any idea who's trying to frame you?
        Caitlin: No.
        Nash: No?
        Caitlin: No.

        Caitlin: No.

      • Caitlin: I just want you to know that I don't ask for help very easily.
Nash: Don't worry about it. You got it. By the way, whatever possessed you to go back to your apartment?
Caitlin: It was my roommate. Okay, I kept calling her, she didn't answer. I got concerned.
Nash: Well, for future reference be concerned for your own ass first.

      • (Evan, Harvey & Nash are walking into the S.I.U and Joe is still sitting in the 'cuda)
Nash: Joe. Joe? Are you alright?
Joe: Oh, yeah. I'm just, uh, a little stiff. (starts slowly getting out of the 'cuda)
Nash: Y-You gonna make it? (Joe stands up) Like in the millennium?
Joe: Yeah, yeah, got it. (starts walking toward them) There we go.
Harvey: Ah, so that's what getting in shape looks like.

      • Caitlin: I saw Jeff Machino, the man Langdon says I blew up. He was outside my apartment.
Nash: Well, if Langdon was right, he was there to kill 'ya. Which is an interesting alternative considering what Langdon has in store for 'ya.
Caitlin: Nash, I am being set up.
Nash: I believe 'ya. Problem is, I don't think Langdon gives a damn about what I think. If I'm gonna help 'ya, I'm gonna need to know what's going on here.
Caitlin: If you're gonna help me, find Jeff Machino.
Nash: Listen, sister. The way I see this, these people that are playing this game are some serious professionals. And that means that a lot of people are gonna get killed and I, for one, am not gonna be one of those people. So if you want my help, you're gonna have to give me the whole story. Trust, it's a beautiful thing. (Caitlin is silent) Fine.
Caitlin: Fine? What do you mean? Where are you going?
Nash: I'm going back to work.
        Caitlin: Nash, come--
Nash: You wanna survive this thing or you wanna play by the rules? Give me a whistle when you figure it out.

      • (After the disco show)
Langdon: This is the seriousness in which you conduct your operations?
Nash: Let me tell 'ya somethin', bubba. Despite our phantom D.J here, we damn sure get the job done. But if you want to deploy some of those well funded F.B.I resources to help us with our mystery disco I might revise my opinion about how your business. Thank you very much.

      • Nash: Good morning, Special Agent Langdon. You're up early.
        Langdon: Where's Caitlin Cross?
Nash: I can show you where her desk is but beyond that you'll have to use your very special F.B.I investigative powers.

      • Cassidy: I know what you're thinking.
        Nash: I didn't say a word.
Cassidy: And please don't even give me that parent guilt trip thing 'cause it's just not fair. (Nash gives her a look) That's the look.
Nash: What? That's no look. I'm just lookin'.
Cassidy: Look, Dad, you know that I have school and secondly I planned that trip to Reno with my friends this weekend and I've already committed and I can't get out of it. And Grandpa probably doesn't want me to dance with his anyways so stop pressuring me.
Nash: Nobody is pressuring you. I'm not pressuring you.

      • Nash: Harvey, what have you got there?
Harvey: Digital camcorder. No one believes that we're experiencing phantom disco shows on our fair barge, next time it happens, tangible proof.
        Nash: Excellent thinking.
Harvey: One picture's worth a thousand electricians.

      • Joe (to Nash): We got a dead guy with a phony company, a bomb with no traceable elements, no suspects, no clues. I feel a lot of late nights comin' on.

      • Caitlin: Well, I actually appreciate both of you being on time because I'm due in court about an hour.
Nash: Well, I can stand anything for less than an hour.

      • Nash (seeing Caitlin): Ah, and so approaches our grand inquisitor.
Joe: Did she say what she wanted to talk to us about?
Nash: Oh, no, no. That's not her style. She would rather have us sitting here waiting for her trying to figure out what she's got up her sleeve.

      • Joe: Let's see I'll have a cappuccino and piece of this pecan pie.
        Waitress: Okay.
Joe: Oh, you have key lime pie? I'll have a piece of that, too.
Waitress: Yes, sir. Coming right up.
Nash: Just coffee for me, thanks.
Joe: Oh, wait, wait. This death by chocolate 7-layer cake, how is that?
        Waitress: It's our favorite dessert.
Joe: Okay, bring one of those. And bring an extra fork him, too.
Nash: Oh, no, no, no. I'm not part of this train wreck.
Joe: Okay, forget the extra fork. You know, bring one of these fruit smoothie parfiet deals to sorta wash it all down with, okay?
        Waitress: Okay. (walks off)
Nash: Okay, what's going on? Or do I wanna know?
Joe: Uh, Inger has decided thick and unflexable. All of sudden she doesn't like my physique. She thinks I'm too bulky.
Nash: Uh huh. I don't know, bubba, but I'm betting that she wanted you to go the other way with this one.
