Goof: When Nash tries to stop the car with the dead driver his police lights are on when the camera zooms out, but not when the camera is close-up.
In this episode, we learn that Nash's call sign is 5-George-31, and that he has a photographic memory.
Goof: At the start of the fight scene in the lab, (close to the end of the episode) someone in black (probably a cameraman) can briefly be seen behind the lab shelves.
There is now a new opening credits sequence, and theme song.
In this episode the SIU moves to the Boat office but in the next four episodes they are back in the Dome Building office. This is due to the next four episodes being Season 1 produced episodes, that were held back.
Cheech Marin does not appear in this episode despite being listed as a Guest Star
William Russ, who guest starred in this episode as a friend of Nash's turned-bad-guy, guest starred on the first season of Miami Vice, playing Evan, a former vice cop and friend of Johnson's character Sonny Crockett.
In the scene where Cheech and Clarence are jamming it appears that Carmine Appice is playing drums, although the appearance doesn't appear to be credited.
Cassidy really showed her passionate side opinions when she posed nude for the safe sex poster (much to her parent's delight..not) in this episode.
Tommy Chong's character mentions he is half Chinese, which Tommy Chong is.
Also, Cheech Marin's character mentions he doesn't smoke weed any more. Cheech Marin left the comic duo Cheech & Chong because he was tired of portraying a stoner. Chong, at the contrary, kept playing (and was typecast as) stoners almost in every movie or TV show he was in.
This episode is a clip show, however, unlike most clip shows, the clips make up less than half of the episode, and are just to fill in extra time.
Nash lives at 855 Sacramento St.
This episode takes place four months after the season three finale.
Yasmine Bleeth (Caitlin), was credited in the opening credits, along with all the other main cast members, however she was also credited as a Special Guest Star. It seems she initially was to have a recurring role, as in future episodes she is not credited in the opening credits, but as Special Guest Star only. It is possible the wrong opening credits were used for this episode, which reflect her addition to the main cast later in the season.
While it may be possible, it seems strange that Nash wouldn't have figured out he and Lisa were still married when he and Kelly married. Either way, with him still being married to Lisa, this means Kelly and he were never officially married as you cannot legally be married to two people at the same time.
The SIU move to a new location for the third and final time of the series. They are on a different type of boat now.
In the poker game, the corpse is holding Aces and Eights. This is known as the Dead-Man's Hand.
Goof: The guy in costume sitting on Nash's car in the beginning of the episode is obviously a doll. When Nash and Joe pick him up and move him, it's clear.
Nash finally gets a settlement from the money he lost in High Fall (S4 Ep01). He lost the money because his accountant embezzled the money, and the case is over now.
Cassidy is 20 years old.
