This show is starting to get on my nerves. It just seems that there are no singers that I like and that I think are really good enough to deserve a record contract. My two favorite left last week, but I was still hoping for more this week. Billy Ray and the other random lady are terrible hosts and they are really annoying. I don't remember any of the performances of tonight as being good. Laura and Sophie were horrendous and I'm so happy they're gone. They have terrible harmonies and they have an attitude problem. Overall, just a disappointing episode. I'm just watching now for the judges...and hopefully a good performance...moreless

    • John Rich: (to Melissa) Well, I think you oversang it.
      Jewel: I don't.
John Rich: If we were in the studio together I would never ever, ever sign off on you singing it that way and I think Jeffrey's right in that you are the most powerful singer on this show and math would say you oughta win this show. I don't want you thinking that you've won this show.

    • John Rich: You know, Jeff has to acts in the bottom two. I just wanted to point that out. I don't know if that means anything Jeff.
Jeffrey: I believe one of them was yours.
John Rich: No, she fired me.
Jeffrey: Well, she got one thing right.

    • John Rich: I gotta tell you it's hard for me to even comment on this performance cause I'm so upset about last week and I would like an explanation as would millions of people that saw what happened last week. First of all I would like an explanation. Why do you think it is ok to roll your eyes and disrespect Jewel on national television? I just want an answer to that; I don't want to say anything else.
Sophie: To be perfectly honest, I didn't even know I was doing it.
