National Enquirer's Uncovered

Show Summary

National Enquirer's Uncovered, also known as National Enquirer TV, was a half-hour entertainment newsmagazine that ran for two seasons. The show was originally hosted by Mike Wallace, a columnist for the National Enquirer, and a well-known morning news anchor, Susan Campo. Halfway through the first season, Campo was replaced by another well-known news anchor, James Hill. At the beginning of Season two, the show was hosted solely by veteran actor, Jack Maxwell. Despite changes in hosts, all shows in both seasons ended with a segment, Planet Gossip, by Mike Walker. In these segments, Walker would give a daily rundown on any newsworthy events of the day. The show also featured interviews with celebrities, news on upcoming events and discussed rumors about celebrities. Frequent commentators on the show included Anka Radakovich and Nelson Aspen. Other guests who appeared on the show included Jeanne Carmen, Steve Ledoux, Ava Cadell and Sheena Metal.
