With his sisters and parents too busy to play with him, Donald (Joey Scott) begins to spend his time with an imaginary friend, Willy. As the viewer anticipates, Willy gets Donald into a variety of scrapes and is blamed for all the ensuing misbehavior. The ever calm, understanding Velvet (Lori Martin) discovers Willy's imaginary status and persuades her little brother to help her retrieve her missing horse, King - supposedly driven away by the mischievous Willy. The fanciful playmate is dispatched "far, far away." Through clever direction and editing, the story of the imaginary friend is told in a direct and pleasing manner.moreless
