Porter (radio actor Ralph Moody) is an aging milkman who, like his horse, has been "put out to pasture" as the day of the horse-drawn milk truck has long since ended, even in the rural area which is the charming setting for this series. Confronting the sad inevitability of old age and the loss of a desire to go on, Velvet (Lori Martin) seeks a miraculous scenario which will restore vigor to the very old horse and, in the process, to his owner. A happy, though unlikely, solution does turn up - but it's the solid performances and good direction which make this episode very entertaining and uplifting to watch.moreless
