Margaret: Let's leave the lovebirds alone.
Sadie: Just so you know, lovebirds are social animals. I can hang out with you guys & Ben. Stay.
Margaret: You know my rule of four: two's company, three's a crowd, four and it all goes Titanic.
Rain: What does "one" do?
Margaret: One finds another "one" and goes to the mall.
Taylor: You know there is one problem? Rain: Problem? What problem? Taylor: I don't know how I'm going to tell Chad. I mean I'm horrible with confrontation. Rain: Taylor, he's invisible. Taylor: Yeah, but he still has feelings. (She kisses him on the cheek)
Rain: I have been thinking a lot about us and I was pushing you to hard trying to get the old days back. That's why I think it felt so forced. Taylor: What if we just didn't have anything to talk about? Rain: No, I don't think that's it. Taylor: What's that? Rain: Margaret has this crazy theory. Taylor: No way. Like the one where we meet each other in a parallel universe and it hiccups every time you cry? Rain: Not exactly. It had more to do with you know us. Margaret thinks it's awkward because were crushing. She thinks we should be boyfriend and girlfriend. Taylor: (laughs) That's hilarious Rainbow. Oh, I said that out loud. Rain: Well like I said, crazy theory. Taylor: Guess this is goodbye. (Both start to do their handshake and end up kissing)
Margaret: I haven't heard that song since camp. And I'm glad. Rain: It was our song. The first one me and Taylor ever sang together. Margaret: Where is you're girl? Rain: Taylor's not my girl. She's not even my friend anymore. Margaret: What did you do? Rain: I have no idea. Things were sort of weird and she kind of broke up with me. Margaret: Did she say it's not you, it's me. Rain: No. She just said things were too awkward when we are together now. Margaret: Congratulations this is a big day for you. Rain: A little harsh Margaret. Margaret: It's obvious. You're crushing on her and she's crushing back. Rain: Where do you get that? Margaret: I'm a girl. I know how this works. Plus I have an unbelievable crush-dar. Rain: There's no way. We were tadpoles together. We had sleepovers. We were best friends. Margaret: Don't you get it? You can't go back to being friends because you like-like each other. Rain: Really? You're so wrong. Margaret: You have to go and talk to Taylor. After all you got nothing to lose. You're already not friends with her anymore. What's the worse that can happen? Rain: Chad finds out. You know who's after me?
Taylor: (Laughs) Rainbow, you're a crime fighter? Where do I apply? I just blended my last banana. Rain: No, it's when we used to play super friends. How could you not remember? Taylor: Terrific, another childhood memory. That's kind of what I wanted to talk to you about? Rain: Fighting crime. Taylor: Being friends. Rain: Super friends. Taylor: I thought we would pick up right where we left off. You know be best friends again. Taller. Rain: So did I. Taylor: But it hasn't been like that. I mean the taller part yeah but things have changed. Rain: Ah, you want my cape? Taylor: I think we need to stop being friends. Rain: You're breaking up with me as a friend? Was it something I said? Taylor: More like something you didn't say. Rain: I have no idea what you're talking about. Normally, I wouldn't mind but this is different. Taylor: Exactly. It is different. All we talk about is just the past. It's awkward now. I'm sorry Rainbow, I don't think we should hang out anymore.
Rain: I don't get it. Taylor and I used to be really close and now whenever were together it feels... Sadie: Strange? Rain: More like... Sadie: Forced? Rain: No, kind of... Sadie: Awkward? Rain: Awkward. Yeah, Definitely Awkward. We don't have fun anymore. Taylor and I use to have nothing but fun.
Rain: Here's another one, it's that time we pretended to be married. Taylor: (laughs) Aww, I still feel bad about making you wear that veil.
Rain: Do you want to grab a bite tonight at the wow? Taylor: Totally. See you at eight. Taylor leaves Margaret: She you're girlfriend? Rain: No, we were just kids. Plus she had this invisible boyfriend Chad. He did not like me much. Margaret: He probably saw you as a threat. Rain: Not likely. He was way taller than me and super cool. I wonder if there still together?
Taylor: Don't tell me. Don't tell me. Rain's girlfriend. I am a psychic. Margaret: Not a good one. I'm Margaret Browning-Levesque and I'm definitely not his girlfriend.
