Out of the three boys, Ron Yuma is the only one not to have kissed a girl. If you remember, Rain kissed Margaret. This makes Ben statement of not being able to kiss a girl, not applicable to Rain.
Mr. Klatt-Meyer: Sadie, why are you so happy? You came in fourth. Sadie: Yeah, but we beat the boys. Sadie, Margaret, and Arden: (singing and doing a little dance) We beat the boys, we beat the boys.
Rain: The only thing I smell is coconut. Is that primal? Margaret: Want some of my coconut scented sunscreen? Sadie: You do know mosquitoes love that stuff. Margaret: Silly Sadie, like mosquitoes eat coconuts.
J.P.: Time out. Iginla? Gretzky? Cassie Campbell? Walter: What? J.P.: You've got your teams, your eras, and even your genders mixed up. J.P.: Sorry Steve, he doesn't know a thing about hockey. Walter: Steve? J.P.: Steve Yzerman. He's only my favorite player of all time.
Margaret: Ow, burrs. My beautiful clothes. (Sadie and Arden laughing) Margaret: What?! Sadie: (laughing) You look ridiculous. Margaret: I do look ridiculous. Sadie: I don't think I've ever seen you look so... terrible. (all of them laughing) Margaret: I know. And you know what? I don't even care!
Ben: It's just a sliver. Rain: Just a sliver? Once they penetrate the outer layer of skin, they get into your bloodstream and make their way to your heart. Ben: Who told you that? Rain: Fred...
Ben: Well you know about the signals, right? Ron and Rain: Signals? Ben: Yeah. Like when a girl flicks her behind her ear when she's talking to you. Rain: Vivian does that. Ben: Or when a girl laughs at your jokes even though you know they're not funny. Rain: Vivian doesn't do that. Ben: Always be aware of the body language. A good signal is when a girl is talking and she touches you. (Ron and Rain giggle when Ben touches them) Ben: Okay guys weird moment.
Ron: Girls aren't designed for the wilderness. For malls maybe, but not for this. Margaret: Uh, let me try and think of something more ridiculous than that. No, you win. Ron: This is an orienteering exercise. It's a known fact that girls have no sense of direction. Margaret: And guys do? (scoffs) You've never driven with Sadie's dad. Sadie: Yeah.
Ron: Hey Ben, ya ever been on a date? Rain: Yeah Ben, ever been on a date? Ben: Yes, I've been on a date. Ron: Tell us about it, Ben. Rain: Yeah, tell us about it Ben. Ron: What d'ya do? Rain: How does one get a date?
The song that plays towards the end of the orienteering race is called Stealing Second by the band, Sinclaire. It is off their album, "Attention Teenage Girls."
