Nature's Deadliest

Show Summary

Nature's Deadliest is an animal documentary TV series developed by the Discovery Channel that centers on some of the world's most dangerous and feared creatures on the planet, ranging in size from the tiniest of parasites to the largest of predators. Spanning the globe from Australia to Africa to Brazil, Nature's Deadliest looks at the natural weaponry and skills of all types of creatures. Take in what makes Australia home to the planet's largest concentration of poisonous animals, such as the Black Adder and the Box jellyfish. Look at the powerful and ferocious predators in Africa, including the snapping spotted hyena, the massive charging hippopotamus, and the venom of the Black Mamba. Visit Brazil, where the Amazon's jungles hide the sneaky and voracious piranhas, the gigantic bone-crushing anacondas, and the hazardous candiru. Nature's Deadliest provides educational commentary as well as dramatizations to show viewers not only the profile of those deadly creatures but also just how they attack when you least expect it.moreless
