  • Los Angeles Lakers take on Thunder in their quest to repeat as Champs.

Great game overall. Lakers showed up to play. Great news for Laker fans, bad news for everyone else. The Lakers got Andrew Bynum back into the lineup after he out for the rest of the regular season. Andrew played very well in his time.

The Lakers pretty much controlled the whole game. Kevin Durant wasn't much of a factor. Ron Artest and the rest of the Lakers held him to a measly twenty points. At one point, he was 5-17 shooting wise. The Lakers played great defense overall something that they haven't been doing consistently in the last days of the season. They shut down the Thunder's bench, and the only other player to score in double digits other than Kevin was Russell Westbrook, and Jeff Green who just barely had ten points.

At one point, the Lakers were up seventeen. They used their big men efficiently, Fisher started raining down threes, and Kobe had a decent game.

The Lakers didn't stick to their game plan the whole game enabling the Thunder to make a bit of a run. Howeever, Lakers played great for the bulk and there was never any doubt as to the winner would be.

The Lakers can easily win this series, if more people don't step for the Thunder. Lakers could win this in four provided they stick to the game plan.

It what should be a fun series, the Oklahoma City Thunder traveled to the Staples Center to face the Los Angeles Lakers. Few gave the Thunder a chance (Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon both predicted they would win one game in the studio) but they are not simply going to roll over for the defending Champs.

Kevin Durant had 24 points here, but he needs more for his team to win a game, let alone the series. Nenad Krstic and Nick Collison just cannot compete with Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, so they are going to need to make up a lot of ground courtesy of the man from Texas.
