The NBA All-Star Game is usually pretty boring, to be perfectly honest. Not as meaningless as the NFL Pro Bowl, but pretty close. But this year the game was definitely worth watching, and not just for Shakira's performance, the game itself actually was good.
The teams were pretty evenly matched with Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul out for the West, and them having Jason "I Can't Make A Layup" Kidd on their squad. It came down to the wire, the crowd got excited, but George Karl made the wrong choice. Instead of giving the ball to Dirk, the hometown kid, and letting him shoot the three, he let Carmelo Anthony take the shot, for reasons I cannot comprehend.
