The rookies win again here, but I was hoping for that and kind of expecting it. They had a lot talent in the former Kentucky players, and Blake Griffin and Landry Fields. Derrick Favors showed signs of promise here as well.
The game was pretty exciting, John Wall's alley-oop bounce pass to Blake Griffin was ridiculous, and Cousins' off the backboard pass to Wall for the slam was great as well.
Kevin McHale and Steve Kerr joking around was good too. They had fun, but they made sure to focus on the game as well. Good game to kick off what should be a fun weekend.moreless
