The Nets and Knicks are meeting for the third time so far this season. The Knicks are one of the few teams the Nets match up well against as New York does not have a true, traditional big man, nor do they have a shooting guard who can score in bunches and give them trouble on the defensive end.
But it was not until tonight that they defeated their cross-river rivals. The Nets worked hard tonight and Brook Lopez and David Lee, the two potential backup centers for the Eastern Conference fought with each other all night. Lopez got the better of many exchanges though and most importantly, got his team the win.moreless
