Florida Guard Bradley Beal: Once we went on the 25-0 run, they kind of shut down from there on. Because we knew they were capable of making 3s, we didn't want them to keep the game close and get back into the game. So we did a great job of putting the pedal to the metal and knocking down shots and playing good defense.

Norfolk State Center Kyle O'Quinn: For everybody to witness that step forward we took as a university, you've got to be proud. We were not satisfied with losing, but we knew coming in you either win a national championship or you lose. That's the nature of the game. We did something that's never been done at our university before.
