This game did not receive as much hype as the other one, but it proved to be exciting in its own right. Like so many games this tournament Ohio State had a big lead and seemed to be in control, but then Kansas fought back and got the lead. Questionable officiating from start to finish, but a good battle tonight and Kansas can make it a game against Kentucky.

This year's Final Four definitely saved the best for last. This was an entertaining game from start to finish, although the very end was a bit weird. How can you not be ready to play the last 2 1/2 seconds??

Kansas deserves a ton of credit for hanging in there and pulling it out in the end. I really don't care for Ohio State, so the outcome was a bonus. It's to see how the Jayhawks are going to be able to beat Kentucky, Then again, they were the underdogs here too and found a way to stick around and pull it out in the end. Maybe they can hang in there on Monday night too.moreless

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Kansas Coach Bill Self: It's a dream to play the best team in the country, up 'til now, hands down, the most consistent. It's a thrill. And I think it's even more of a thrill for us, because I don't think anybody thought we could get here.

Kansas Coach Bill Self: It was two different games. They dominated us the first half. We were playing in quicksand it looked like. And the light came on. We were able to play through our bigs; we were able to get out and run, but the biggest thing is we got stops.

(on falling behind by 13 in the first half)
Kansas Coach Bill Self: It's a 40-minute game. There's no 13-point plays. You have to grind it and get one stop at a time.

    • Kansas Forward Thomas Robinson: It's just been our thing all year, coming back. I don't like doing it, but for some reason my team is pretty good when we're down.

Kansas Forward Thomas Robinson: I think we're trying to make it fun for y'all. Seriously, I wish it (falling behind) would stop. I mean, I'd feel better at the end.

    • Kansas Center Jeff Withey: My teammates definitely look at me and see me as a protector. They know if they get beat, I'm there. I'm there to help them block shots. When I blocked Jared (Sullinger), I was standing straight up. I guess my length bothered him.

    • Ohio State Coach Thad Matta: Down the stretch, the tournament comes down to making plays. Give them credit. They did a great job of finishing.
