  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

    9.0
This was the first NCIS LA christmas episode and it was a really good one when a Navy intelligence officer Talbot is found in a shootout but he has PTSD This made Kensi reveal the story about her husband which know one believed at first Kensi tries her best in the episode to help Talbot because she doesn't feel she helped her husband When we found out that Talbot didn't really have PTSD I couldn't believe how he just tricked Kensi when she really wanted to help him.moreless

A Kensi-centric episode of NCIS: Los Angeles here tonight and while it really came out of the blue here, that is not to say that it was not an enjoyable episode of the show. NCIS: LA is starting to carve out a niche for itself on Tuesday nights, but I would still not classify this as a must-watch TV series just yet and by the second season a show needs to get to this point. The comedy was there in the beginning, the action was there, but frankly it was still an average episode. Not sure if this type of episode was the one to end the year on.moreless
  • Meltdown again?

    4.0
After a couple of solid, well-written episodes, NCIS: Los Angeles goes back to weird stories without any visible baseline or common thought.

Filling the first minutes with so called christmas presents that were as unthoughtful as giving your mother a toothbrush for christmas, they have the sole witness of a double homicide run around in blood-soaked clothes. Not to mention every now and then that the guy's on medication for post traumatic stress disorder. Picking the witness up from the police - blood stained clothes, getting the guy into an interrogation room - blood stained clothes. Walking the witness back to the crime scene - bloodstained clothes. What is wrong with these people? Trying very hard to get the guy to snap into a seizure?

This I found very thoughtless and stupid. I have seen CSI: Miami episodes that made more sense than this.

But apparently, just branding NCIS on a stupid storyline is already considered success. QA FAIL!moreless
  • Best Episode Yet!! I LOVED IT!!!!

    10
I am rarely speechless, but I do not know what so say other than I LOVE IT! It was great, we look deeper into Kensi's story. It was so sad when she was telling him her story about her ex fiance, Jack, who suffered from PTSD. I cried during that part. It is about time Kensi got the spotlight. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and my mouth wide open. It was full of suspense, which I haven't seen a lot from both NCIS and NCIS:LA. I cannot wait for the next NCIS! Have a great holiday everyone and happy new year!moreless
  • Very amazing episode!

    10
NCIS: Los Anegeles produced a sensational Christmas episode/ with this perfect show, which was one of the best episodes they have ever done!

The case was really interesting, as well as the PTSD and the indepth look at Kensi's past! There were some big revelations regarding her past, and her fiancee.

The storyline changed significantly when the PTSD was found to be fake, and I didn't see this coming. There were some great scenes, such as the undercover work at Covesian's house and chasing the guy at Santa Monica Pier.

Overall, this was a highly exciting show. Full marks also for the humour! Hetty is a re-gifter, and the end of the episode was also favbulous, when Hetty gave Nell the red jumper that was previosuly discussed. The last seconds were really funny as well, just as Hetty drove Nell to the airport! Very funny stuff!

Keep it up, NCIS: LA, and I hope the great episodes continue to come in 2011!moreless

    • Deeks: (about Kensi's ex-fiance) Were you ever tempted to go looking for him?
Kensi: Maybe I was hoping one day, he'd come looking for me.

    • Kensi: (about her ex-fiance) He said life over there was like falling through the sky. Constant rush of adrenaline. Everything felt vivid and real. And coming home to me...coming home to me felt like hitting the ground. And I did...I did everything I could. (Kensi starts sobbing) I worked with a pyschiatrist. I helped with his meds, and I listened. I always listened - always. It was Christmas morning, I woke up and he was gone.
Talbot: Where'd he go? (Kensi shakes her head)
Deeks: (from observation) She's...she's playing him. She's trying to get him to open up, right? (Callen and Sam exchange looks)

    • Sam: Kensi, I know what you're going through. I've been there.
Kensi: I watched Jack...slip away. Maybe I didn't try hard enough.
Sam: I don't believe that for one minute. I know what it's like to have someone I care about come back from a deployment a different person.
Kensi: After all that Talbot's been through, I'm going to do everything in my power to help him.
      Sam: Kensi, Talbot's not Jack.
