  • An interesting but not brilliant way to start the spin-off!

    9.5
This two-part episode of nNCIS odfficially kick started the new NCIS: Los Angeles, and I thought that these episodes were good, but they focused too much on the new team, and not quite enough on the existing tension within the actual NCIS season that ws supposed to be on.

If you watch this episode, you might be inclidned to be turned off from tuning in to further NCIS: Los Angeles episodes, because it wasn't a remarkable start, but the case was interesting and the characters, particularly Sam and Kensi, were very likeable!

Probably a better idea to watch this episode only after you watch some better ones like 'LD50', 'Random On Purpose', 'Fame' or some others, but I would still recommend this one to fans! Keep up the work, guys!moreless
  • If you like Knight Rider and Burn Notice, this show suits you

    7.5
If you like "the new" Knight Rider and Burn Notice, this show suits you. I'm not a fan of Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J, they both mediocre actors. But the other cast has potential so lets see what they got in the next few episodes. I do not watch the new knight rider either just there pilot episode and a couple after that. KR is very predictable and the plot is shallow. Burn notice is a good show, its like the new 80's show the A team. I do not watch the other ncis because I'm not a fan. I just watch this ncis la because I'm curious why Chris shift from cinema to tv. Is the show that good? Or is he just desperate to be back on the showbiz.moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Goof: When Agent Callen tells the terrorist that his friend Nick's real name is Michael Rivkin, he says he doesn't care what his real name is. But he should have cared because he would have recognized it as a Jewish name.

    • This episode was a two part episode as part of NCIS on 04/28/09 and 05/08/09.

    • Special Agent Macy was the lead on the team against Gibbs when he killed the man in Mexico that had killed his first wife and daughter. She eventually declined to prosecute Gibbs, and hid the evidence that would implicate Gibbs because she believed he was just in killing the man who destroyed his family.
