NCIS:NO is ripping off story lines almost directly from earlier seasons of the mothership. Murder from NCIS Seson 3 ep 5, perp from season 5 ep 8 back story from season 4 ep 12.

Wise older sage ME- check except its a woman

tech geek- check except its a guy in a wheelchair instead of the guy dating a woman in a wheelchair

You aren't watching a new show, your watching a patchwork of reruns from the originalmoreless
  • This show is so much better than the original this year!

    10
I really LOVE the characters on this show- ALL of them, and I think they have great chemistry. The accents are sometimes off with certain characters like Pride, but I can deal with that. Love Lucas Black! The setting is also far more interesting than the original show, so that holds my interest as well. I have to admit when this show first aired, I had a negative opinion going in just on the basis of what they have done to the original show, but I quickly changed my mind. I am actually really surprised that after hiring such a dud of an actress for NCIS, that the producers could hire a quality cast for this show! Zoe M. is SO much better than Emily Wickersham! Here is both a strong actress and strong character, unlike Emily! Bishop might be a strong character, but she's a lousy actress, so it brings her character down. Brody is FAR more believable as an agent, and she has good chemistry with the rest of the cast. I also like the cases and how they work together as a team on this show. IMO this is a far better show this season than the original, and so is LA! I'm glad this spinoff was added since I don't like the original anymore. This show has filled the void for what used to be my favorite show. Thank you to the cast and crew! Keep up the good work!moreless
  • =D Awesome

I like this spin off, its funny and makes one wonder and marvel at the NO culture =D

This along with NCIS LA and Forever has became my favorite shows on all TV! =D

About the comments on the main ever since Ziva got out of it its became boring and crappy. Bishops ridicule/childish character has kinda ruined it for me. The show completely lost its appeal.
  • Best of the NCIS!

    10
No floor sitting Bishop, no fake NCIS outfit with a short woman in charge of a team that doesnt investigate Navy/MC crimes. NCIS:NOLA has a Southern boy who can pull out guns fast, a great martial arts interrogator, and a great musicians/cooking team leader!

To all haters of this show (accents, location, small bits)--please go sit on the floor and watch floor sitting Bishop destroy the main NCIS. Or write your own TV prrogramme.moreless
  • Great Start - still going strong

Enjoying the show. Do like seeing all the characters and their development. good chemistry.

have enjoyed each episode. Character development is going well. Will look forward to the rest of the season

    Episodes 7 and 8

Loved them both. I think the characters are starting to develop well. Will continue watching to see how they grow and change.

Episode 6 - Halloween - did not see that ending. Creepy!!!!

Episode 5 - still love the show. Hope to see more of CCH Pounder and autopsy. The Halloween Episode should be fun

I do agree about the doors always open. A very crazy way to run what should be a very secure business.

    Episode 4

Good show - liked the family aspect. Although the tough cop with a daughter is not unlike Gibbs, even though his daughter died young.

I did not see NCIS from the start - I caught up on the storyline with reruns. So I think I will like watching a show from the very beginning to see how it all plays out and how the characters develop and grow.

    Episode 3

Still like it and want to give it a chance. will keep watching

    Update - watched tonight - episode 2

    still love the show

can't wait to see how all the characters grow and develop

episode 1 - Love the new show. Can't wait for the next episode.moreless
