GOOF: Why aren't photos of Katelyn Todd and Chris Pacci on the honor wall along with Paula Cassidy? They were also killed in the line of duty.
GOOF: When the girl Tony flirts with says "Bye Tony" on his way to the elevator, you can see (may need to go frame by frame to notice) her not speak the words, but just form a smile.
TRIVIA: The guard is whistling Beautiful Dreamer as he steps out of the bathroom just before being shot.
TRIVIA: Rule #13: Never involve lawyers.
TRIVIA: A picture of NCIS agent Paula Cassidy is shown on the wall of the officer who died in the line of duty. Paula Cassidy was killed in the episode "Grace Period" (Season 4, episode 19).
Ducky: You know, when I was younger, I used to take solace when the victim was elderly. I thought, well, at least he's had a full life. But now that I am older, I don't get the same solace.
Wilson: How's Gibbs to work for?
Tony: What have you heard? That bad guys would rather confess than be interrogated by him? That his steely gaze can cool a room by five degrees? That he can only be killed by a silver bullet, like a werewolf? They're all true, except for the silver bullet part. Might give him indigestion or heartburn, but I don't think it would kill him. Any other questions?
Tony: (seeing the looks from Ziva and Mcgee after he hits on a recruit) What?
McGee: You know there are rules about harassment, Tony.
Tony: Well then, maybe I should keep the number she just gave me in case I want to file a claim?
Tony: So why an NCIS agent?
Wilson: To protect and serve my country.
Tony: Come on. Dwayne, I'm trained in the art of extracting the truth. You can't snow me.
Wilson: I can't?
Tony: No. You can't. For the travel?
Tony: The babes?
Tony: Carry a gun?
Tony: Retirement plan?
Tony and Wilson: No.
Tony: To make a difference. Ah, that was a placebo question.
Wilson: Whatever you say.
Ziva: I do not understand. If you want someone dead, you knock on their door, they answer, you shoot them. Easy.
McGee: For some.
(Gibbs notices Tony using two CDs as mirrors to look at his ear)
Tony: I scratched myself in the line of duty Boss! I'll live.
(Ziva's having some difficulties with her computer)
McGee: Alright, just let me do it please, ok? You handle this like you handle your car.
Ziva: And if you want to handle anything ever again remove your hand from my mouse!
Wilson: Why did you become an NCIS agent?
Tony: For the guns and the babes.
Wilson: You're kidding, right?
Ziva: I do not understand. If witnesses do not get a good look at something, why do they talk out of their ass?
McGee: Talking out of one's ass... that would be your area of expertise, Tony. I'm gonna let you answer that query.
Tony: Well, the general public is about as observant as your average probie or new recruit.
Tony: You take a date back to your family's house, you want to make a good impression. You want them to like you. You don't introduce them to your weird Uncle Jethro until like the 5th date.
Gibbs: Since when are you an expert on 5th dates, DiNozzo?
Tony: You're very right about that, Boss.
McGee: Tony's still hitting on the new recruits, huh?
Ziva: Ignorant, hopeful and eager to please.
McGee: What recruit isn't?
Ziva: I was not talking about the recruit.
Tony: We have a McGnome in our office. He never gets out, kinda smells like an overheated computer chip.
Tony: Time, money, futility... sounds like one of McGee's date nights.
Ziva: You are fortunate that recruits are not allowed to carry guns, Tony.
Tony: I don't know if you noticed, Ziva, but she and they don't exactly want to shoot me.
Ziva: Give them time.
