Excuse me, but last time I checked MIDI files were incapable of having words and completely wiping two hard drives and having functioning OS's(operating systems) was pretty much impossible. Also, If she was such a freaking genius with computers, she would realize that only one hard drive wipe isn't going to jack as far as recovering them goes; You can wipe it four more times if you really wanted the challenge. Ctrl+z(undo) might have just brought everything back with the way the plot was going.
I'd also like to close the nice plot hole entertaining the idea that the whole organization runs ubuntu (a linux variation) which has absolutely no password locks for deleting entire hard drives. I'm not saying the rest of the plot was bad, but surely, they could do a tiny bit more research before airing things such as this.
