If NCIS is the #1 drama, then why is it not up for nomination for an emmy. Mark Harmon, in my opinion, is as good an actor as the rest in his catogories and Cote de Pablo can hold her own in hers as well. Who do you think deserves a nomination? Do you think NCIS is a good enough show to be nominated?

    Yup!
If nothing else, Cote's and Michael's performances in TOC were DEFINITELY Emmy deserving!

I could not agree more. That's why I don't watch the award shows. They are all about how much leg work your publicist does for you, a.k.a "the schmooze", not about the quality of what you've done, nor how consistent that quality is. Beyond the show itself there are several characters who should get nods, and certainly the writing. Any writer who can increase the ratings of a series seven years in deserves some kudos...non?

Yeah... Emmys, or ANY award actually, nowadays are no longer about the talent.
eg Best Acrtress is not about who's best at acting their role, but who's most talked about in the tabloids and followed by most papparazzies (sp?)...
Create drama for yourself and you're sure to get an award nomination... be the best actor/actress there is, stay cool and don't do any public events besides the 'mandatory' ones and get ignored..
