Another episode with a father/son element that ends with Gibbs calling his father (except this time without input from Ralph Waite). Yesterday was a nice day, but...there's a frickin nor'easter there now! Not that the writers could have known that. Seeing Ducky in his gym clothes was different though. Haven't heard Abby ask permission to hug since the sexual harassment episode in season 4. But Gibbs saying he doesn't believe in coincidences and Vance trying to use brownies to get him to let him in on the case (last time he just came into the bullpen and pretty much said "guess what? I'm working your case now!') seemed kind of off.

I was wondering if anyone here knows the name & artist of the song that was playing at the end of the episode. It had a refrain of " better off now". I loved the episode!!

It struck me as odd what Abby has been wearing this season. This episode she was wearing a conservative full length dress. I looked back at other episodes and it's been toned down quite a bit from previous seasons. Fall out from the exp0losion? I think they may have missed something. the primary suspect was a former Navy sailor. That might be a more realistic cover story.

I've been trying to find out that song too, the "Better Off Now" playing at the end of the episode. Searching iTunes but no luck yet?!
