NCIS Season 10 Episode 13

Abby: I'm trying to figure out a way to... be okay with not being enough.
Gibbs: Enough what?
Abby: Enough good.
Gibbs: Well, then you're not counting the hit-and-runs.
Abby: The what?
Gibbs: The good kind. You do something good now, you're not always around to see the difference it makes later.

Abby: Have the bad things been outweighing the good things all these years, and I just never noticed?
McGee: What do you mean?
Abby: All I ever wanted was to help people with the truth, and I've done that, but then bad still wins sometimes, and then I just want to file it away like it never happened, so I can go back to being happy.
McGee: There's nothing wrong with that.
Abby: (referring to her first and last cases) Yes, there is, McGee, because then sometimes the Cutwrights and the Dunns they just keep fighting no matter what the truth is, and sometimes-- Ricki never gets to see her grandpa again. If the bad outweighs the good, then that means that I'm not enough.
McGee: Abby, listen to me.
Abby: No, I'm... And if I'm not enough, McGee, then-then why, why even try?

McGee: I'm kind of worried about her.
Ziva: Well, don't be, McGee. I mean, Abby always finds a way to be happy.
Tony: Yeah. I'm sure she's down there right now, dancing a jig and teaching sign language to a dog.
Gibbs: (walks in) You got something against dogs, DiNozzo?
Tony: No, boss. I love all canine beings. Especially the dogs that you love.
