Season 6 Episode 22

Legend, Part I

Aired Tuesday 8:00 PM Apr 28, 2009 on CBS

  • Trivia

    • GOOF: When the team finds the body with the Potomac view in the background, the shadows are wrong. The shadows inside the building are not all in the same direction indicating a closer light source than the Sun.

    • TRIVIA: Ducky tells Tony that when Ziva had been sent back to Israel, she was almost killed on an undercover assignment in Morocco.

    • TRIVIA: Gibbs is old friends with Special Agent Callen, and they had worked together in Serbia.

    • TRIVIA: Callen starts speaking in Russian so that a neighbor from St Petersburg who hears him will think he's Russian mafia. If so, it will be as an American contact, because his Russian accent was terrible.

    • GOOF: When Tony dials the phone (in the scene just after Gibbs' meeting with Abby) the touch-tones that we hear are "1234567", however these are not the numbers Tony dialed. This is evident as the "1" button is visible as he dials the first number.

  • Quotes

    • Michael: Your father sends his love.
Ziva: What else does my father send?
      Michael: (taking her hand) Me.

    • Tony: Ah, well look at that. 6 cylinder, gas powered beast.
      Ziva: V8, diesel.
      (Tony taps hood)
      Tony: Batteries in here.
      (Ziva points to side)
      Ziva: Here.
(Tony points where Ziva was pointing)
      Tony: Over there.

    • Ziva: After out last trip to LA, I do not understand why you would think I would be such an eager platypus, Tony.
Tony: Beaver, eager beaver. Not platypus. (pause) Why does that bother me so much? Don't answer that! (Ziva's cell rings) Answer that!

    • Tony: McGee, not me? McGoo, you?

    • Tony: He got a name?
      Ziva: Who?
      Tony: Star of David.
Ziva: Oh him, yes he has a name.
      Tony: Trevor? Bruce? Marmaduke?
      Ziva: Michael.
Tony: Um, he sounded more like a Bruce than a Michael on the phone.

    • Tony: Those red eye flights can be murder. (Gibbs glares)

    • Tony: Long distance can be hard. Tele-friend from Tel Aviv?
      Ziva: You're jealous.
      Tony: I'm not jealous.
      Ziva: Yes you are.
Tony: No I'm not, and I'm not arguing, boss.
      McGee: Are, too!
      Tony: Am not!

    • (Tony arguing with McGee as he's entering the bullpen and Ziva's phone starts ringing)
Tony: Hold on a second. (picks up and talks to phone) Ziva David's phone.
      Michael: Ziva please.
Tony: She's not in right now... (turns around and sees Ziva walking into bullpen) Um, actually she is just walking in. (Tony holds phone to shoulder while Ziva tries to grab it) Man, deep voice, slightly accented, 6'3", 200 pounds, Prada suit, Italian shoes, standing on the north side of the street, looking for Ziva.
      (takes phone from him)
      Ziva: Thank you, Tony.

    • (McGee and Tony walk out of a full elevator and into bullpen)
McGee: Tony, I am not arguing with you.
      Tony: You are arguing now.
      McGee: No I'm not!
      Tony: Yes you are!
McGee: This is not an argument.
      Tony: Yes it is.
      McGee: No it's not!
      Tony: It is.
