GOOF: When we first see Ducky working on Jane Doe on the table, there is a metal clamp attached to the right side of her chest, but when Ducky says "You're back, aren't you?" the camera goes to a wide shot with the clamp no longer there.
GOOF: When the team arrived on the scene, the officer on duty informed them that the sailors who found the body had just come back from deployment on the USS George Washington. Later, Kate told Gibbs that their person of interest was a chief on the the same ship as the sailors who discovered the body & she said it was the USS Abraham Lincoln. Both are Nimitz class carriers (CVN) and both are named after presidents but the USS Abraham Lincoln was based on the West Coast at that time, plus they'd already established that the sailors were from the USS George Washington.
TRIVIA: This is one of the only episodes of NCIS in which you can hear the voice on the other end of Gibbs' telephone call - in this case the call being from Dispatch informing him of a body.
TRIVIA: The latest Jane Doe is described as having been raped and murdered. Yet the only indication of any sexual activity is the presence of sperm. An autopsy would have shown that there was no enforced sex, so the insertion of sperm should have been obvious - or at least suggested consensual sex.
TRIVIA: When the bartender is looking at the picture and thinks the dead woman is meditating because her eyes are shut, that would make some kind of sense. Except that the photo also clearly shows the Y incision from the autopsy, and there's no way he wouldn't have noticed that, however stoned he was.
TRIVIA: This is the first episode with the black and white 3 second teasers when first returns from commercial breaks that shows the last 3 second of the segment.
GOOF: Clever plot, one question, semen recovered from one body and stored for 10 years, then stolen and inserted in another, wouldn't it be pretty obvious that the sperm was pretty damaged after so long? They weren't cryogenically stored, they were refrigerated, the sperm would be long dead.
Abby: (to Gibbs as he leaves) And he's so grouchy he'll give you a run for your money!
McGee: If I said that to Gibbs, I'd be seeing stars.
Abby: Well, that's the advantage of being me.
McGee: Boss, what if Wilson's semen was inserted in Jane Doe after she was murdered?
Kate: (wincing/frowning) EEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!
Kate: You were in the bathroom for 45 minutes!
Tony: You clocked me?
Kate: What could've made you take so long? (Catching herself, hand pointing to Tony) Don't answer that!
Tony: Well I was--
Kate: (covers ears with hands) Ohhhh, No! I don't wanna hear it!
(Tony's holding a picture)
Bartender: Such a sweet countenance.
Tony: Sweet countenance?
Bartender: Yeah, that radiant look on her face.
Tony: She doesn't look radiant, she's dead.
Bartender: In that picture?
Tony: Yeah, she's dead.
Bartender: She's dead?
Tony: She's dead. Why do ya think her eyes are closed?
Bartender: I thought she was meditating.
Jimmy: Ducky went to Norfolk, I think he drove.
Jimmy: Why did he drive?
Gibbs: No, why did he go to Norfolk!!!
Abby: (Answering phone) Abby here, you're on the air!
Ducky: Abby, it's Ducky.
Abby: Oooh Ducky on the air phone, how cool!
Abby: Moving on to saliva... always a crowd pleaser.
Bartender: Some man raped and murdered her? (gives Tony a look)
Tony: Yeah.. it wasn't me.
Abby: (annoyed) So are you two that formal when you're exchanging bodily fluids?
Tony: Oh trust me. Nothing says welcome to manhood as perfectly as a skillful lapdance.
Kate: You want me to go bar hopping with Tony?
Kate: I can't believe you actually know these things!
Tony: It's a gift.
Ducky: Unlike the living, the dead do not lie.
Ducky: I should warn you, the old boy does love to hear himself talk.
Tony: Do you believe in Karma Boss?
Gibbs: I've had three wives, DiNozzo.
Tony: I wasn't leering. Drooling a little maybe.
