    This is a SUPREME episode.

I am not a film critic nor do I like them very much! But I have to mention the music in this episode, which was on point... Especially when Ziva and McGee were at MTAC listening to the guy going on about why he thought the victim (forgot his name dammit!) didn't have any enemies. Just from beginning to end, it was a pleasure to immerse myself into yet another blisteringly wonderful episode. Interesting fact, my sis told me that Tony directed this episode!moreless

The episode displays the potential close relations between humans and their dogs, a mutual emotional support and collaborative efforts for a common goal. Great episode!

Excellent episode. The last shot of the widow and the dog looking at the coffin was perfect. Well done, Michael Weatherly.

    • Tony: (about Dex) You know, I've been thinking about getting a dog.
      Gibbs: That's not a dog. That's a Marine.

    • Vance: Long as we share this bond, David, you promise me, when I come to offer my perspective concerning what it is that you're catching up on, you will be as forthcoming as I'm about to be?
      Ziva: Promise I'll try.
Vance: I don't know if I'm scared, but I will admit that I do worry some. I worry that-that the act of hiring a nanny means that I'm moving on. And if I'm moving on, I worry that Jackie's death will... you know, feel... like--
Ziva: It's a bit more final? (Vance nods) Well, then, I suggest you take your time, Director. Hire a nanny, or do not hire one. But do not let anyone tell you when you're ready or should be ready to move on. That is entirely up to you.

    • Abby: So, what if Dex and the sergeant were sniffing around the Junaghas' house for IEDs, and they fell into a cave that was full of jewels and-and precious metals and chalices--
Tony: Abbs. If you're going to go Aladdin on us, just keep in mind that was set in Baghdad, not Afghanistan.
Abby: I feel certain that there is more than one genie in the world.

    • Tony: Well, I'm just saying. If Vance is waiting for Robin Williams in drag to come floating on some magic umbrella singing "Do-Re-Mi," he's going to be waiting a long time.
McGee: Wow, Tony. Three movie nannies in one reference. That's impressive.
Tony: Thank you. It's called mash-up, McPhee. And that makes four movie nannies, in case you were counting.
