Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs
Special Agent Tony DiNozzo
Forensics Specialist Abby Sciuto
Chief M.E. Ducky Mallard
Special Agent Tim McGee
Mossad Agent Ziva David
Secretary of the Navy Phillip Davenport
ICE Agent Julia Foster-Yates
FBI Director Barry Hutchins
FBI Agent T.C. Fornell
GOOF: In Vance's file it states, "Mothis was a member of New York State Board of Education." Presumably this should be, "Mother is/was a member of New York State Board of Enducation."
GOOF: When McGee runs the license plate from Director Vance's SUV, he searches for the number in the Washington, D.C. DMV. The SUV clearly has Virginia plates, not D.C. plates.
TRIVIA: The Sec-Nav took the file on Vance that Kort gave Gibbs in episode "Broken Bird."
GOOF: Agent Foster-Yates tells Abby her mother was the ambassador to Bangkok when she was a girl. But ambassadors are assigned to countries, not cities, so she should have either said she was the ambassador to Thailand, or that she was stationed in Bangkok, the country's capital, which would have indirectly stated her mother's proper position.
GOOF: When Tony tried to translate what Ziva was saying in Hebrew he wrote in the online translation site: ANEELO YE CHOLA which translates as I can not. But he wrote it wrong and wouldn't be successful in translation. It's three different words but they should be written this way: ANEE LO YECHOLA. This is possibly deliberate though, as the website indicated that you could input text phonetically.
GOOF: While Abby was looking through the photos from the poker game she said that it was a five-card-draw with an entering fee of $50. From the photos we can see that on the table there were only 4 different kind of money-chips in increments of $25, $100, $500 and $1000. If the minimum in is $50 it would not be very comfortable to play without that chip, but instead use twice amount of chips with lower value.
Rule #11 - When the job is done, walk away
Rule #12 - Never date a co-worker.
TRIVIA: The photo of three children knocked down when Tony and Michael are fighting, is supposed to be a photo of (right to left) Ari, Ziva and Tali. Ari and Ziva seem closer in age and Tali seems to be around 4-6 years younger then Ziva. This puts Tali's death around the time Ziva is 20-22. This means she would have already completed her service in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and having worked for Mossad for a few years already. This proves her statement from "Kill Ari (2)" I was Mossad long before Tali's death.
GOOF: Ziva's address appears on the screen in this episode as 3558 Volta PL NW. This location is actually in the middle of Georgetown University, but it appears to be real as the street continues on the other side of the university with numbers in the 4000's.
Abby: The bug stomp. Classic movie move. Sounds like a Tony.
McGee: Nah. It was a Jules.
Abby: A Jules? What is a Jules? I'm going to have a word with this Jules if we ever have the good fortune of meeting.
McGee: I'd like to be here for that.
Ziva: Michael is here to see me. He is not working. He is on vacation.
Tony: Well, he certainly is drinking like it.
Abby: (referring to the bug Agent Foster-Yates stepped on) Are you often in the habit of destroying evidence, Jules?
Agent Foster-Yates: Beg your pardon?!
Abby: You should, actually, because I'm the one responsible for reconnecting and reactivating all of those extremely delicate pieces of electronics.
Agent Foster-Yates: You can do that?
Abby: Of course I can.
Agent Foster-Yates: Then what's the problem?
Abby: You probably know some kind of martial arts or something, huh?
Agent Foster-Yates: When I was in high school, my mother was the ambassador to Bangkok. I fell in love with Muay Thai.
Abby: So if I tried to scratch your eyes out, you could probably break my fingers?
Agent Foster-Yates: That would be a mistake. You need your fingers to fix that bug.
Fornell: (after they discover the identity of a prime suspect) I'll catch Gibbs up. Find the guy!
Tony: Oh, okay! I like taking orders from just about anybody, I guess!
Fornell: (going over those present at the poker game at the SecNav's house) Heads of the CIA, FBI, ICE.
McGee: That's a full bowl of alphabet soup, huh?
Fornell: Not all of them. Which letters you got on your badge, McGee?
Fornell: I'm riding shotgun here, Gibbs.
Gibbs: Yeah, can I borrow it?
(Tony watches Ziva getting into the elevator and leaving.)
Gibbs: Rule number eleven, DiNozzo.
Tony: I would never date a coworker, Boss. Trust me. I mean, why would you even... That's twelve. Eleven... when the job is done, walk away.
Tony: Isn't that right Ziva? (Tony and Yates look around for Ziva) Where'd she go?
(Ziva on the tree)
Ziva: A few branches are missing up here.
Ziva: Clear view of the property, could study the view of the patrol pattern. They go in, he goes up, then he goes out... (Ziva points in opposite direction to Tony and Yates) That gate. (Ziva's cell rings) Ooh. (Ziva opens it) It's McGee.
(Ziva starts talking into phone)
McGee: Hey, Gibbs wants you guys to come back.
Ziva: I'm up a tree.
McGee: Well, this might only confuse you further.
Ziva: Oh, well who said I was confused?
McGee: You said you were up a tree.
Ziva: I am.
Tony: Why is he calling you and not me, I'm his senior field agent.
Ziva: I don't know why he's not calling you Tony.
McGee: I did call him...
Ziva: He's not making any sense.
McGee: ... you're the one not making sense.
Ziva: He said he called you.
(Tony checks phone)
Tony: Not getting a signal. How come you're getting a signal and I'm not?
Ziva: Because, I'm up a tree.
Tony: Oh. We solve cases all the time like this.
Ziva: He did not get out this way.
Yates: Not unless he could cross a lawn without bending a blade of grass.
Ziva: Well not impossible, with the proper training.
Tony: Looks like someone dropped a cocktail weenie.
Ducky: I have a riddle for you; What is not food, but tastes very well. I'll give you a hint. And you should come up with an answer before Officer David, since it's right on the...
Tony: Tip of your tongue.
Ziva: Hmmm... (she picks up electronic device with tweezers) A fly.
Ziva: On the wall.
Tony: Ladies and Gentlemen, the amazing Dr Donald 'Ducky' Mallard. The first and only M.E. under the big top.
Ziva: This is turning into a circus.
Tony: Here come the clowns.
Ziva: Dead man is ICE.
Tony: That's cold.
